    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...mans-left-germany-three-years-migrant-crisis/

Hundreds of thousands of German citizens have left the country in the three years since the height of the 2015 migrant crisis, according to statistics from the German federal government’s newly-released 2018 migration report.

This is what happens when you have a liberal running a country
No wonder Germany has to rely so heavily on the USA......SAD!

The number of Germans reported to have left the country seems very steep and possibly exaggerated here....If so where have they emigrated to which has a better standard of living than Germany, there is not many countries in the EU or beyond that can boast to be better for that, hence one of the reasons the migrants flooded there in such huge numbers.

Though the level of immigration to Germany will certainly cause great issues moving forward.....A symptom of trying to compensate for a dark past reputation methinks

The article is lacking in detail

Each year, more than 100,000 Germans leave the country to live elsewhere in the world, according to the Federal Statistical Office(Destatis).

In 2015, which was a record year for both immigration and emigration in Germany, just under 140,000 German citizens moved abroad.

The country that received the highest number of German immigrants was Switzerland with more than 18,266 people, followed by the United States with 13,438 people. Austria came in third at 10,239 German immigrants.

The interactive map below shows the top ten countries Germans immigrated to, including the number of Germans moving to each country. The darker the colour, the higher the number of Germans.

Still, there are more people coming to Germany than there are people leaving the country.

About 2.14 million people moved to Germany between 2014 and 2015, including many asylum seekers, EU citizens and Germans who had been living in another country, according to the most recent immigration data released by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

During this time, the number of people who left Germany reached about 1 million, though the vast majority of them were non-German citizens.

German immigrants - the top 10 countries:

    1. Switzerland: 18,266

    2. United States of America: 13,438

    3. Austria: 10,239

    4. United Kingdom: 8,917

    5. Turkey: 6,750

    6. Spain: 6,216

    7. France: 5,863

    8. Poland: 5,536

    9. Australia: 3,523

    10. Netherlands: 3,384

I wonder how Brexit will affect those numbers, both for immigration and emigration as they are now a sovereign nation with no obligation to allow EU citizens entry.

A massive part of Brexit Voters reason for voting in the manner that they did was due to immigration. In the North of England especially immigration was the decisive factor for many voters.

To continue the EU immigration en masse policy post-Brexit would be a huge disappointment to many Brexiteer voters.

Well, if the USA hadn’t invaded Iraq, there wouldn’t be a migrant crisis to begin with.

You might be right. Which is why Trump's "AMERICA FIRST" philosophy is the best way to go in most situations

I think this is probably the key. From the Breibart article.

Probably not so different after all. Obviously when countries have massive unemployment people need to move but I don't think this is the case for Germany. Just be people taking advantage of being in the EU and moving about for jobs. The new way of recording making this appear there is a big difference when it probably is just the new way of reporting. Happens all the time when new methods of recording are used.

If you are a good person you adapt to your new homes established culture. If your a bad person you seek to influence the established culture with your own.

You don't move from New York City to Bozeman Montana and try to outlaw hunting or proselytize for veganism.

Immigration is great but unless your a total jerk, you leave your culture behind and assimilate.

You must not have gotten the memo that Iraq wasnt responsible for the terrorist attacks in the west and were not friends with AQ that was funded by the rich Saudis ..

Gadafi who we helped to take down and destabalized Libya tried to warn the west that libya under him served as the cork to keep immigrants out of Europe. But we didnt care nor did Europe.

The wars we have supported in the ME created refugees that flooded europe. That was a major cause for the effect in this cause effect universe.

And who would deny this fact? Only the illogical and irrational thinkers. Some of us are not fit enough to think . And not credible enough to listen to when they voice those thoughts.

Good to see Germans choosing the US as a place to immigrate to. We need high quality educated and skilled immigrants over the other kind. An asset to this nation .

I read where the Nigerians have also been the kind of immigrant that is an asset.

and yet with US immigration history was that people moved to the area where their people, that is people who came from where they came from were. The US is just a hodgepot of different people having a nervous breakdown because very soon 'whites' will not be the majority.

    Umm, you're forgetting one thing.

You gotta fight for your homeland.
I will never flee America and become a refugee. I will fight and if need be die to protect my country. These millions of refugees should do the same for their homelands.

    That, is logical.

Or perhaps, the liberals are having a nervous breakdown because many of these immigrants are
not buying the Democrat Victimhood stuff - instead they are religious (many Catholic) patriotic,
traditional values, want kids, strong work ethics and love Capitalism.
