    Actually this is the purpose of the constitution. All other answer are incorrect.
    We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


    The bigger the government gets the less justice we have the less domestic tranquility we have, the less we have common defense, the less we have general welfare and the the blessing of liberty disappears.

    Pretty sure the point was that the forumite you responded to, unlike the OP, actually understands the 1A. Your right to free speech does not entitle you to someone else's platform.

    No, sorry but that is a very myopic, silly, and foolish view. If one takes one aspect of Stalinism and compares it to other "isms" you may see one or some similarities. For example Stalinism is autocratic but so was Franco of Spain, Hitler of Germany, and ToJo of Japan. Not only are they not Stalinist but Franco beat the Republican government forces even though Soviet Stalinists supported the Republican government. Autocratic governments existed throuout history but they were not Stalinist. Thete were and are autocratic monarchies. See Saudi Arabia which is autocratic but hardly Stalinist. More examples look at the physical world. Water is a liquid. Fuel oil is a liquid. Fuel oil burns. Water not so much, you must agree.

    I see no Stalinists running for the Democratic Party nomination. I see a self identified "Democratic Socialist " who in not a Democrat for 3 years 2 months before the election before he declares himself as one.

    While I do not agree with Harris, it is not opinion that she is opposing. It is the constant lying and misinformation that comes from Trump that she is opposed to.

    Based on that logic, Trump is a Stalinist. He didn't accept the results of Obama's election, he still doesn't accept the popular vote count of the election he won, and he's made far, far more concrete steps attempting censorship than any of the main Dems have. Also, Trumpists are the ones arguing against private property rights here, not Dems. Might want to consider that while complaining about Stalinism.
