    WOW!!!!

triple OT in the outback bowl, what a game

the rose bowl was closer than I thought and kudos to the badgers for making it so

stanford vs osu was the right game for both teams and it made for exciting football.

they were evenly matched. One thing was glaringly obvious, Bama or LSU would have eaten alive either of those teams. We have the correct 2 teams in the championship game

The Stanford/OSU game should teach people why one should NEVER gamble. It looked like OSU won the game with a TD & the refs took it away(the right call) & OSU won it with a field goal. The spread was 4.5

    Lol - good point.

There must have been a ton of people agonizing over that slow motion replay.

I feel bad for the freshman Stanford kicker who missed the two field goals at the end.

no words can make it hurt less. But, Stanford went conservative in regular time when they could have gotten 15 yards closer.

There were a few coaching events yesterday which made you go..huh??

Spurrier totally screwed up not using a time out and WI screwed up by burning one over the touchback.

Gator Bowl proved one thing, both schools have a long road back to becoming 10 win schools.

Outback and Fiesta proved to be good examples of why I like college ball over the pro's.

Me as well...the NFL is my favorite major sports league by far.

But I will take almost any NCAA football game (even Division II) over watching a bunch of RIDICULOUSLY overpaid players/coaches and their old, white billionaire owners over-dramatize my favorite sport.

As opposed to watching the "Rose Bowl presented by Vizio"? :puke: As opposed to the billionaire boosters, overpaid coaches in college football, and college aged 18-22 year old meat head players?

Other then the NCAA players should be getting some of the gravy - I have little problem with the money in NCAA.

I would FAR rather a university was making millions then a an NFL player/billionaire was making tens of millions.

I care not what anyone says - NCAA is 'purer' football then NFL by miles.

I'll be there next week and will do my part in keeping their lights on. I always leave a little bit lighter than I arrived.

    You lost me.

What's the special significance of a guy in a costume at a college football game?

NCAA the great money machine. Takes a special kind of people to make billions of bucks off the sacrifices off others. True capitalis of the times.

I'm not sure what to make of this game. 'Bama favored by 2 in the Superdome, where LSU has historically had a lot of success. Alabama coulda & maybe shoulda won the first meeting, having missed all those FG's. I'll be rooting for LSU, 'cause their moxie has kinda grown on me, but I reject the thought that if the Tide win a close game, it could/should be a split vote for the title. The winner of this game should be the champ, case closed, IMO.

    I agree.

Besides, if the tide win, then they beat every team they faced this year the last time they faced them.
You do that in the NFL and you win the Super Bowl.

    Good enough for me.

tonight's winner should be the nat'l champion. To even discuss a split title is nonsense.

    I will be torn tonight

I've enjoyed the nat'l championship game the past several years while in vegas and rooting on my beloved SEC.

Let's see which mistake tonight costs the championship.

I heard this from my grandson --

It seems that after the game Monday night, that the bus carrying the LSU players had trouble leaving the parking lot at the Superdome. Supposedly someone had painted a 50-yard line in front of the bus...

    :D

    What a predictably horrible game.

Next year USC will win it all. Not sure over who, maybe LSU if their QB pans out. I like Georgia as a dark horse, they return a ton.
