Thanks for additional insight on Florida's sad choice. Who do you think will win?

The Kavanaugh fiasco pushes this race in favor of Scott.

Nelson is probably going to lose if he votes, "NO."

Dems are deviants, lying sacks . Look at the Kavanaugh spectacle, what normal American would vote for a democrat ?

Btw Scott is pulling away from Nelson in Florida. Also Hawley just went up 10 over McCaskill in Missouri. Donlley of Indiana is voting No against Kavanaugh and has already started to sink in the polls. Heidtkamp is in trouble if she votes no she loses her job. Same with Manchin in W Virginia.

Poll: It Looks Like Claire McCaskill Shot Herself In The Foot By Opposing Kavanaugh, Especially With Women Voters
    .....

McCaskill is one of the most vulnerable,if not the most vulnerable, senators running for re-election cycle. All the red state Democrats, where Trump just destroyed Hillary Clinton in 2016 are in very precarious re-election territory. This Kavanaugh fight has already put the screws to them. It’s pretty much a no-win situation. They could vote for him, but that means becoming outcasts in their own party and frozen out of much needed financial resources, which they will desperately need. Oh, and endless harassment from the progressive grassroots. They could announce their opposition, maintain the communication lines to the Democratic war chests, but lose their jobs come January.

So, how has Claire fared since she announced that she’s a “no” vote on Kavanaugh? Bre Payton at The Federalist noted that not only are voters in her state less likely to vote for her come November, but female voters are now less likely to vote for her as well:

A new poll by Remington Research Group found that of the 1,555 likely Missouri voters surveyed late last week, 48 percent said they were planning to vote for Republican candidate Josh Hawley while 46 percent said they planned to vote for McCaskill.

When asked if McCaskill’s opposition to Kavanaugh affected their voting decision, 49 percent said it made them less likely to vote for the Democratic senator, while only 42 percent it made them more likely to vote for her

Just a day before President Trump makes his record seventh trip to West Virginia, a new poll shows big support to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court next week, and pressure on Sen. Joe Manchin to back him.

The survey showed that 58 percent of West Virginia voters want Kavanaugh confirmed. Just 28 percent said no.

What’s more, 59 percent of independent voters and women, by a margin of 52 percent to 35 percent, want the embattled federal appeals court judge elevated to the top court in the land.

And West Virginia voters found Kavanaugh far more credible than his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.....snip~

Way too early to predict the Senate.

The only poll that matters is election night.

    Holy crap, really?

The guy gives his opinion and you nitpick a few words you don’t like and call him bad names?

I don’t even understand how to talk to people anymore, there isn’t a point. It’s like my mom, people have pre programmed answers and aren’t even listening to what’s said.

    To OP:
Interesting predictions, seems R heavy to me.

I think Reps keep the senate by 2, the house is INSANELY close when I did all mine. I have it Dems +2 with 4 I won’t call.

    Gonna be interesting.

I'll bet you think that's some sort of gotcha. I'll bite. How is Cuomo related to the 2018 Florida Senate race?

Hint for you - I'm not partisan. Both the red laundry basket and the blue laundry basket are filled to overflowing with dirty criminals.

Here's something relevant most people never thought of. Trump won even though the GOP lost seats in both houses in 2016. Please don't corrupt this thread with collusion talk. So he won on his own. They lost on their own. If there was no coattails for Trump to Republicans in 2016 how can you expect negative coattails in 2018?

Republicans will hold the house by one or 2 seats, same prediction I made the day I joined these forums and sticking with it.

Kavanaugh might well be the swing factor, just like last time Hillary being an appalling human being swung it for Trump.

The latest TN poll that has Blackburn opening up an 8-pt lead, means things are looking very good for the GOP to end up with at least 50 seats.

My prediction; GOP loses the house, retains Senate.

    2 years of obstruction.

Yep that is what I am going with.....Repubs hold the House by 2-3 seats. Will pick up 4-5 in the Senate. The Repubs will hold the Senate with N Dakota and Missouri. Donnelly is caving in Indiana. Jones is falling in Alabama. Scott is pulling away from Nelson in Florida. Tester of Montana is on the bubble now, and so to is Sherrod Brown in Ohio. Guess he was smacking his ole lady around and she filed a report against him from years ago. Plus his record shows he has never held a job in his life other than political office.

Florida here - Our choice for senator is terrible versus terrible. Nelson doesn't do much of anything. I can't name a single thing he's done. Scott, OTOH, implemented a mandatory drug screen for all welfare recipients. Guess whose company he chose to complete these tests.... his wife's. This policy was later found unconstitutional, but the stink is still there. It is looking more and more like we are opting for criminal instead of useless. Scott is such a sleaze - he's running ads in South Florida, in Spanish, where he promises his Latin constituents that this is the land of opportunity, all are welcome here... blah blah unicorns farting rainbows... nice music. Now, queue his ad in North Florida - harsh music, pounding... we MUST get a handle on illegal immigration, these people are destroying us... kick them all out, now!

I hate Scott more than Nelson, at this point, but Nelson is very weak.

Meh... it's looking more and more like I'm staying home, which is something I haven't done since 1984. (With very few exceptions due to illness or travel.) I'm disgusted by the choices we get, now. Every year it gets worse.

When the GOP does win the house on November 7th I won't be cocky and posting quotes from myself for more than a few months ;)

Scott is winning over Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and Mexicans and is pulling away from Nelson.

    Nelson needs a Miracle.

A whole lot of people vote against their own best interests in every election, I see no reason why Hispanics should be any different. Scott is giving them the unicorn farting rainbow promise package and they like it.

Just remember only one of them wants to keep the Republic, and it isn't Team Blue.

No citizen wants to destroy the Republic, but the criminals in Congress who are owned and operated by the Oligarchy are only worried about themselves. The letter next to their name is irrelevant. I don't care about your partisan politics. These people do not care about you and me, nor do they care to do anything resembling long-term planning for the future of this country. They are all about grabbing what they can for themselves, while they can, without any regard as to how it may hurt our country.

You mean the part of the oligarchy that enjoys cheap labor? We've had a wink/nod policy with Mexico about this since Nixon left office. I appreciate Trump is trying to do something about it, but he's not getting a ton of support by the Congress Criminals, since they are owned by people who love cheap labor.
