I HAVE argued plenty with "gun banners". Once again you prove yourself to have your head up your backside.
You do realize a question was posed in this thread to which I simply answered. From that point others argued with me. Just because I'm a gun owner doesn't mean I have to agree 100% with EVERYTHING every other gun owner believes. Sorry, but I'm not a fcuking sheep. I have a mind of my own and don't follow the crowd. I'm a gun owner, been shooting guns since I was 16. I just happen to be a gun owner that doesn't need to carry a gun. And as I've stated, I don't care if others do. Just don't try to BS me that it's a NEED rather than a CHOICE. Got it?

need has no relevance in any discussion of freedom. BTW who did you vote for in the presidential election in 2016?

I’m just going by what others have been trying to BS me on.
Third party. I wasn’t going to give my vote to Trump or Hillary. For the record, I have never voted for a Dem in my entire voting life. Figured I’d cut to the chase on that assumption. Also for the record, I don’t give a flying fcuk who you voted for. It means nothing to me who anyone voted for. Those who are concerned with how others vote are a laugh.

so it sounds like you are a bit defensive on this subject. The reason I ask is that almost every GCA who is a US citizen supported Hillary

Defensive? No. I just have seen too many people on this forum make assumptions and sweeping generalization about people. Case in point, your reason for asking me who I voted for. I'm in no way a GCA. Never on this forum or anywhere else have I EVER advocated for any gun control laws.

Perhaps he doesn't march in lockstep with pro-gunners? People are allowed to be free thinkers if they so choose.

If a cop had shot him, would this have been a story?

"Citizen kills robber who has what turns out to be an imitation gun — is the killing lawful self-defense?"

    Yes. End of story.

Is it legal to use lethal force if someone threatens you with a gun?

Under what legal standard should the shooting in question not be considered as justified? Explain such.

Maybe if I carry a gun I can shoot someone? What a thrill.

Perhaps if you operate a motor vehicle on a public right of way, you can run over someone who is jaywalking. One can only imagine the level of excitement that would be experienced from actually being able to experience grand theft auto five in a real world setting.

"....But a methodical gleaning of eight years of news accounts by the Violence Policy Center, a gun safety group, found that in research involving 722 deaths in 544 concealed-carry shootings in 36 states and the District of Columbia, only 16 cases were eventually ruled lawful self-defense"

"The state police know nothing about the nearly 40 shootings by people with concealed carry licenses since Illinois became the last state to allow them four years ago."

When you draw a gun inside a bank you lose all rights.

So there is no issue about claiming "self defense".

    That's what's hilarious.

Self defense against a toy gun? Was the toy made out of cast iron and was threatening to be used to bludgeon the citizen to death?
