    ......been proven wrong on a number of issues, but mainly about the Elections and Covid19.

    For example;

    1. Prior to our Summer Wave, several posters in this forum have criticized Cuomo's handling of Covid19, notably his state's number of deaths per 1M pop.

    Well, for anyone's info, at least 4 Republican states will soon surpass NY.......according to their number of active cases, and 7-day rolling averages.

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

    2. White House Budget 2020

    In this budget, Trump proposed a number of spending cuts, and his 10-year estimates reduced the deficit from $1.098 trillion to $577 billion

    https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/BUDGET-2020-BUD/pdf/BUDGET-2020-BUD.pdf

    Well, back then, here was my response; Trump's deficit reduction estimates are based on a 2-3% annual growth rate economy, thus, what will happen to said estimates if we end up in a recession?

    ----------------------------

    Wrong, wrong, wrong, and here are the reasons why:

    1. Lack of wisdom

    2. No critical thinking

    3. Partisan response.........this one is a biggy

    4. Uneducated

    5. No common sense

    6. Just simply wrong

    Dirty Donald will end his one term presidency having added if not quite 8 Trillion to the National debt, it will be very very close.

    1) The really bad thing for those Republican states surpassing NY in covid death rate: They had months to prepare and they have tests. NY didn't even have tests when the first wave hit, and no time to prepare. Yet, you can bet that these red states will hit ICU bed capacity, as predicted. Maybe then they'll wake up and reinstate some lockdowns that Trump fans continue to criticize.

    2) This was so predictable. I said from the start that the $1.5 trillion additional deficit from the tax cuts estimated over 10 years are wishful thinking. This was only going to happen if the economic conditions continued to be ideal over those 10 years. In reality, the likelihood of a recesion in 10 years was high, with or without covid. The blowout of the deficit was entirely expected.

    These people never learn. And these are only two issues on which they were wrong. You can write a LONG list on the RW response to the pandemic, all of which are exactly the opposite of the right thing to do.

    The criticism of Cuomo centers around putting Covid-19 patients in nursing homes. The most vulnerable under the worse possible conditions with no way to protect themselves. I have not paid much attention to the total numbers.

    Yes, in retrospect a bad decision. At the time, they thought they would need ANY hospital bed they could find. It is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback.

    Whether true or not, I SAID;

    Prior to our Summer Wave, several posters in this forum have compared their Republican State's and NY's number of deaths per 1M pop, and back then, based on a very significant difference, they've concluded that Governor Cuomo mishandled Covid19. Also back then, said comparisons were politically motivated.

    Today, said comparisons were UNWISE, due to the fact that at least 4 Republican States will soon surpass NY's number of deaths per 1M pop.

    Wow. How many red states are there. Lets say there are thirty. There are probably more than that.
    So four out of thirty or just over 13% will soon surpass New York..

    In reference to deaths per 1M pop, Borat posted the last Red vs Blue states comparison, and he was wrong!

    Here's another reason;

    7. Stupidity

    Why the latest addition? Because there is a poster who will soon piss me off

    Folks, let's be honest.....in reference to the pandemic, no one anticipated our current numbers.

    In fact, I was wrong......prior to our Summer Wave, I strongly believed ND would end up with the lowest number of Covid19 deaths per capita, and I was wrong!................currently at 1,535, thus, almost twice the national average.

    Reason for being wrong;

    Number 6......Just simply wrong

    Prior to the election, anyone who claimed that our Blue States incurred more Covid19 deaths than the Red States, per capita, WERE WRONG!

    Reasons for being wrong;

    2. No critical thinking

    3. Partisan response

    first list is too short
    list of reasons is too long.

    There are many issues showing damage caused by government.

    The problem is that Americans lack willingness to have respectful discussions with those of opposing views. As we attack each other, politicians on both sides are spending our money like thieves with stolen credit cards. All politicians need is for us to say to each other:

    "you lack wisdom, critical thinking, education, common sense, and you are simply wrong!"

    If so many people can believe they are right while being wrong, shouldn't all of us question our beliefs?

    Correction;

    One of the criticisms against Cuomo........

    (emphasis added)

    1. So tell us all which 4 Republican states will "soon surpass NY" in number of deaths per 1M? Or did you just make that up? More likely you are purposefully blending a distortion of two different stats. Gross, but not surprised, it's what you lot do day in and day out after all!

    But never mind, fabricated death counts are irrelevant when corrupt bureaucrats have simply converted average old age deaths miraculously into COVID1984 deaths towards illicit benefit for the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex, its wealthy elites and large corporate cronies (that's you and yours btw in case you were wondering). Instead...

    2. Tell us all which of the last four years is on track to have the least deaths from all causes in the U.S.? 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017? We already know it's 2020. Then tell us all where are the 300K+ COVID1984 deaths in 2020 in the deaths from all causes in the U.S. stats? WHERE ARE THEY?

    Is COVID1984 somehow REVIVING more (old, unhealthy, comorbid) people than it "kills?" WHERE ARE THE 300K+ DEATHS?

    Looks like there -might- be a point or reasonable claim somewhere there? Maybe?

    But then...

    ...Now you're channeling a 6th grader. Mildly amusing, not convincing.

    Quote; So tell us all which 4 Republican states will "soon surpass NY" in number of deaths per 1M? Or did you just make that up?

    I said "at least four", and based on current deaths 7-day average

    NY Deaths per 1M pop; 1,841
    NY Deaths 7-day average per 1M pop; 87/19.4 = 4.48
    NY Population; 19.4 million

    North Dakota, 1,535
    South Dakota, 1,425
    Louisiana, 1,483
    Mississippi 1,429

    https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

    Please REFUTE now, and I will soon prove you wrong.

    So your initial claim was a distorted speculation after all, not surprised.

    Also not surprised that you have no answer for the actual meat of the post, that was crystal clear (WHERE ARE THE DEATHS in the lowest death year in the last four?), and instead are trying to stick on the above.

    Remember folks...

    Do you get your information off of Facebook? I have never gotten onto Facebook but when I look into your claims, it seems that you are mostly repeating memes that pop up on Facebook, according to the fact checkers.

    Did you know that there are these organizations that employee thousands of news gatherers from around the world. The more well known ones are the Associated Press and Reuters. Television and Radio stations along with newspapers and magazines pay subscriptions for the news these sources provide.

    It is how we can know which news outlets are the most honorable. Everyone, liberal and conservative alike receives the same raw news from mostly the same sources. If one has access to the original stories, one can see how each outlet distorts the news.
