That's useful to know. So now if some TDS victim responds to me emotionally and with a lot of personal attacks, I'll just call him an "evil liberal space alien", and he'll leave me alone?

That's awesome! Thanks, Russell! Cheers!

I didn't say he would ignore you. I said if you only read the post of those who made rational arguments it would be a lot easier to have a conversation :p

Under your standards, we should have impeached Obama when he made incompetent and unqualified Hillary Clinton the Secretary of State.

So kinda like a condition for conversation. Got it.

"Rational debate welcome. Evil liberal space aliens need not respond."

But how can you be sure which is which? Aaah, I know ...

My point exactly in that comment I made about Hillary. Shanks thinks Trump should be removed from office because he doesn't like Trump's appointees.

Heck, the biggest embarrassment to the Constitution was the last Constitutional Scholar we had in office. Evidently he knew what it said until he decided to overrule it.

He has the next best thing, a dumb as a rock, small minded, attention seeking, easily lead President's ear, who does have one...

I'm guessing at all times there is a precise military plan for nuclear war...who gets hit first, how hard do they get hit, what is retaliation, etc. As pressure mounts on Trump I can imagine he will try anything to divert the media...

Unless Trump continues farther over the edge in his behavior you are correct there will be no 25th Amendment action. I was not being literal...I was simply saying 'it's time' to consider removing him. But even this IMO does little good because I have no use for Pence either...

No...I do not like Trump because he is an embarrassment to the office and personally incapable of this level of complex management. I've never met the guy so I can't hate him...just have no use for him...

News flash; this is March, 2018 yet you continue to live somewhere in the past? You somehow believe something that happened in the past can justify or neutralize something that is happening today? Well...only in law does this matter and it's called precedent. Reminds me of a parent scolding their kid for very bad behavior and the kid proclaims their sister got away with it five years ago...the kid still needs to be scolded!

Oh please. You seriously think any American president (including President Trump) would launch nuclear weapons for any reason less than an attack on the United States? Much less something like "diverting the media"??

You've been watching that idiotic movie "Wag the Dog" I take it.

Nuclear type weapons are required to damage underground nuclear facilities like in Iran or NK. NO...I would not be surprised if Trump bombed Iran's or NK's nuclear facilities. The question left unanswered is if Trump does this how do other nations respond...

Liberal hypocrisy is current and ongoing.

Besides, you can’t name anything unconstitutional a Trump has done but you can that Obama did.

There is a recent poll on that.

According to the most recent CNN poll, Trump has an approval rating of 42%. He is still the least popular President in American history, but his approval rating is up 7 points overall since February, including 6-point increases among Republicans (from 80% to 86% now) and independents (from 35% to 41% now).

My question is this. What is that 42% approving of in terms of Trump's performance? Many are dying to know. Trump supporters can't defend Trump from criticism. Most Trump supporters wish to avoid what Trump does and says. I have first hand knowledge of both those statements.

Part of the answer to my question is that the 42% are unaware the President has very little to do with economy, other than the fact that he can harm the economy with certain policies. Which is exactly what Trump did when he sparked trade wars with his liberal protectionist tariffs, but the 42% seem to agree with the liberal concept in their overall assessment of Trump.

The President's strongest approval ratings on the issues come on the economy, the only issue tested where his reviews tilt more positive than negative: 48% approve and 45% disapprove.

The 42% seem to be ignorant of the relationship between foreign trade and the economy. Trump's approval on the economy is relatively high, the opposite is true in foreign trade. On foreign trade, the economic issue on which Trump has most recently taken action, implementing tariffs aimed at Chinese imports, steel and aluminum, 38% approve of the President's work while 50% disapprove.

In all other categories, foreign affairs, Russia, and gun control Trump is in the negative.

63% believe the women in the alleged affairs. 21% believe Trump.

It would seem that the 42% who approve of Trump don't know why and that approval conflicts with their political beliefs. They approve of Trump, but, they don't approve of Trump's policies, notwithstanding the economy where ignorance comes into play.

So, if you are part of the 42%, please explain why you support Trump.

That wasn't the question. The question was,if you try to remove the president under the 25th amendment for incompetence, how do you prove incompetence. I take it from your post that a majority vote would be just fine. But if you decide based on the majority vote, how about doing it constitutionally? It is called elections.

Can you explain what you mean by "support Trump"? Can you absolutely loathe him personally but still believe most (not all) of the policies he advocates are what the country needs and that his harsh critics (such as you) are a greater long term danger to the United States (for reasons I've stated) than anything President Trump will ever do?

The "proof" will be up to Congress to determine if presented the case by the VP and the Cabinet.

You think for a single moment VP Pence and the cabinet are the least bit interested in removing President Trump.?
