The Golfer-in-Chief has been in office 307 days and has spent 99 of those days (in shameless self-promotion) at one of his resort hotels. This after continuously claiming, during the campaign, he would never leave the WH because he would be working so hard, while bashing Obama for playing golf. The WH released a statement saying Don would be making calls and be in meetings all day yesterday. As it turns out, to no one's surprise, not so much.

    http://www.msnbc.com/all

Click on the link and then click on "Trump's busy day at Mar-A-Lago" from the column of videos on the right.

It explains why the Tweeter-in-Chief always speaks in generalities when discussing the issues. "This (fill in the blank) is going be beautiful and tremendously fantastic, believe me" When GOP leadership went to the WH to discuss healthcare reform weeks ago they came away appalled at Don's obvious lack of knowledge about the details. Details he doesn't know because he is too busy watching Faux and Friends, talking to Steve Bannon on the phone, and attacking his detractors with idiotic tweets.

Not that any of this bothers his followers, because Don is going to MAGA (wink).

I suspect that the WH staff encourage the BLOTUS to go golfing because that way he is less of a hindrance to themselves.

But seriously, which do you think is worse? The constant promotion of the only thing President Flim Flam truly cares about, his business. The fact that he duped his followers in to thinking he'd take the job seriously. Or that he hypocritically slammed Obama as an applause line during his huckster rallies? Cuz, you know, the dog whistle shtick was a little bit funny, but what you were trying to avoid by posting it isn't.

I chose None of the Above.

I don't depend on the silly BS kids on MSNBC create for their target audience, in order to understand what is going on.

If I had to put a number on it, I'd guess I've closed $100 million in business on golf courses throughout my career, so the meme means nothing to me. It didn't mean anything to me when President Obama was criticized for playing golf.

But duped followers, not taking job seriously, huckster rallies? That's just meaningless noise.

When Bill Clinton played golf and carried out the presidential duties the media bragged about how good he was at multi-tasking and his ability to compartmentalize his life and chores. My point is that you can see who the Trump haters are based on how they choose to criticize. Rather than criticize the man because he plays golf or he tweets every day, look at how the economy is roaring back and no new wars have broken out. The country is doing just fine under Trump's administration. That will improve all of our lives. Who cares if he calls the NFL kneelers SOB's or doesn't call Little Kim short and fat. In one year Trump's actions have shown us how we floundered for 8 years under Obama. And the best is yet to come.

I'm sure it is...........to you. But then you are a follower of Trump and therefore impervious to allowing for legitimate criticism of him. If you think he is doing anything on the golf course other than playing golf then I'd like to talk to you about a property in Soho.

Fun to watch you clutching at straws, but biased conjecture doesn't move the needle.

It's apparent some people have unique standards for what qualifies as "legitimate criticism".

I keep forgetting nothing Don can do rises to the level of being objectionable or unethical for the true believers. How could it since you apparently voted for him.

As I wrote, it's apparent some people have unique standards for what qualifies as "legitimate criticism".

A South Korean won the US Women's Open, which happened to have been played at Trump National.

According to the anti-Trump crowd, he shouldn't have said anything.

That is correct. He should not have used the opportunity while on the world stage to plug his property. What's more, you know and I know if Hillary had done something similar she would have been crucified by the Right...........but since Don did it it's all good for the following.

I believe he congratulated a South Korean citizen for achieving a remarkable feat, while he was in South Korea.

Not everyone is so infected with anti-Trump obsession, they demand the President filter every comment in order to keep said people from becoming triggered.

And once more, it's rather unproductive to inject assumptions, since they have no anchor in fact.

It's indicative of something that Trump has only been in office one year, he is battling both parties to get things done, has done away with old regulations that the MSM ignores, the economy is way up, unemployment is way down, and the the top words in the Left's vocabulary are "dog whistle" and "golf."

“Korean golfers are some of the best on Earth,” Trump said. “In fact, and you know what I’m going to say, the Women's U.S. Open was held this year at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., and it just happened to be won by a great Korean golfer."

Had he omitted the plug of his property no one would have objected. But since he is already under scrutiny for violations of the Emoluments Clause, lying about pursuing construction of a new property in Russia during the campaign, and various other violations of ethics rules his mention of the course in NJ was notable. This isn't close to an obsession. It's pointing out the obvious to all but the blind devotees.

No, it's an obsession. Fact, the US Women's Open was held at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. Fact, a South Korean golfer won the tournament. Fact, he was in South Korea, in front of a South Korean audience when he made the comments.

Yes. An obsession. An obsession that apparently eliminates objectivity in the most seriously afflicted.

You've proved my point. It was inappropriate at a minimum for him to mention, unnecessarily, that the golf course belonged to him while acknowledging the S. Korean golfer. That should be an easy admission for someone who can look at it objectively. You can't.

"On Wednesday, just moments after a Washington Post reporter traveling with the president sent a message to the broader press corps saying the White House expected a “low-key day,” the reporter sent another dispatch correcting her previous statement.

“While the White House communications staff expects the press pool to have a ‘low-key day,’ the president will NOT have a low-key day and has a full schedule of meetings and phone calls,” wrote the reporter, who was part of a small group of journalists known as the “pool” who travel with the president and distribute reports detailing his activities."

Then he played golf for 6 hours.

Well, I guess if someone needs to ignore facts, they might reach the conclusion you have. I have a difficult time ignoring, or for that matter, removing facts, so I can't get to the place you are.

Also, this fixation on "low key" is really rather amusing. Please define the subjective phrase "low key" as it precisely applies to the schedule, contacts, conversations, and activities of the President of the United States on the day in question.

Gee, you kind of stepped in shyte there. The reference to "low key" was initially made by a WH staffer. Ooops.

“Low-key” is also how deputy White House press secretary Lindsay Walters described the day to the press pool Wednesday morning. Trump would make a few calls this week, she said, but otherwise not much going on.

Less than 10 minutes later, though, the White House asked the press pool for a correction.

“While the White House communications staff expects the press pool to have a ‘low-key day,'” the update from The Washington Post’s Jenna Johnson wrote, “the president will NOT have a low-key day and has a full schedule of meetings and phone calls.”

So since you aren't someone who ignores the facts I'm sure you now recognize your mistake.

Geeze. I guess I need to take into account the difficulty some have in reading.

I stated the issue about "low key" depends on how one defines the reference. Obviously to the anti-Trump crowd, low key means doing nothing. My guess is the left's MSM propagandists seized on that reference and did the normal TDS dance. The retweet was simply to clarify for the simple minded what "low key" was referencing.

For example, low key to some on the alt-left might be to sit around playing video game and tweeting the latest metoo references in order to feel liked. Low key to air traffic controller might be a reference to just another full day, with nothing exceptional going on beyond that. To the President of the United States, it may mean the usual phone calls, discussions, briefings, etc..

I would appear those in the triggered categories can't grasp those distinctions.

So, I ask the question you ran from again. Please define the subjective phrase "low key" as it precisely applies to the schedule, contacts, conversations, and activities of the President of the United States on the day in question.

The corporation I work for has 2 yachts and 6 planes. A lot of work is done on them. We own them for a reason.

The same idiots who thought it was more expensive when Bush went to his own house in Texas compared to Obama’s entire extended family flying on separate planes to vacay in Hawaii or France....this aggravates them;)

    Sad.

Your BLOTUS spends his days watching Fox&Friends, making asinine tweets and playing golf.

There is no way to redefine that as anything but low key.
