4,136 Christians Killed For Their Faith Last Year - Where The Outcry?

In theory perhaps, but among American protestants, particularly evangelicals, my description is FAR more accurate and prevalent. Oddly, other than church policies surrounding coverups and sex scandals, my experience in America the Catholics do a FAR better job with that.

Probably has much to do with NOT having thrown out the confessional.

It's not unique AT ALL. The very targets of that event have made such acts all too common. And yes, large numbers of Christians are killed simultaneously in some of these cases.

Frankly, it's outrageous to suggest there isn't a horrifying double standard at play. It's like denying 2 + 2 = 4.

 

Have you heard what the Muslims did to the Armenians during World War I? Of three million, one million were killed and one million forced to flee the country. Rape, starvation, beatings, beheadings, etc, etc.
It was the modern World's first genocide, and the inspiration for Hitler to plan the Holocaust. When asked about what the World's reaction to the Holocaust would be, Hitler replied "Who today remembers the
Armenians." The New Zealand murders were carried out by one lone nut case.

A person converts / reverts to Islam via a conscious choice made as an adult. You do not become a Muslim simply by being born. As in so much else the truth of what the Hadith says is in the reading of it.

Sura 98:6 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.

Note please that the first Sura you quoted does not say what you said it did nor does the second. Why am I not surprised? As for the rest, Individual Muslims, jurists included, can say what they like but, like the Jewish Rabbi who declared every human but Jews to be created to be their slaves, we need not pay any attention.

Finally Tafsir Ibn Kathir is one of the Most Comprehensive and Complete Explanation and Commentary of The Noble Quran. He was a commentator not a prophet and quite capable of being completely incorrect. But even if you quote him correctly here, how is it any different from the fundamentalist Christian insistence that Christ will return and throw all who are not Christians into hell?
