The targets of the NZ event have made terrorism horribly common. Are you implying that they haven't?

 

If this is true, and you've come away believing it's no different to Christianity, or Buddhism, then I would respectfully submit that you have been lied to. Are you white, by any chance?

 

Its interesting to compare someone who has studied islam for forty years and "fellowshipped" with muslims with someone like say Robert Spencer who has studied islam for just as long...yet they have chalk and cheese opinions on islam....

The reverend in NZ wants us all to love everyone...to kiss and cuddle each other....

Or non-white people who've lived in Islamic nations, and even under Sh'aria (as I am and have). What our friend doesn't get, is that you will NEVER get the truth if you're white, or Christian.

Having said that, I never experienced a moment's grief or trouble from Muslims while in their countries. I also have never felt safer, as a female. WAY safer than in the West. But ... I lived as a local, not as a Westerner. I wore hijab, lived in a village, and behaved myself. And I was told the truth because I was regarded as a sister, not 'the other'.

Strange how this thread started out talking about murdered Christians, and rather than address that, Liberals turned the subject to Muslims. The persecution of Christians in the Sudan killed
about one million people in the 1990s and early 2000s - New Zealand, while awful in itself, is pretty paltry in comparison.
