Umm, no they've got minorities on a regular basis all over the place, including on this show. Do they seriously need to make sure they have a token minority on every show every time the topic hits the news? You are judging them solely on the basis of their skin color.

 

Have you ever watched "The Five"?...it's a pretty disjointed show.

Gutfeld has short man's syndrome and tries to act like a tough guy, while it's obvious he hates women.

Perino is stuck schlepping red meat to old geezers who watch Fox News instead of being back in the white house (which is where she would be if Romney would have won)

Beckel is ineffectual.

Tantaros and Guifoyle should just wear black pointy hats, and ride brooms to work.

 

He may be gay, I don't know but that doesn't mean he hates women. I think he's awful funny.

Disagreed on all of it. We cannot put racism behind us while we are still practicing it. I'm not in favor of racism, even when I kid myself into thinking it's helping someone, so i dont have to look in the mirror and admit Im the same thing I considered wrong in the first place.

You can't ask us for reparations about a subject you dont think we have any involvement in....

Theres 2 sides (well more than 2 obviously, but for this discussion it seems we're on Black and White) to this discussion, and 2 races involved. Why would anyone only look to one side to be able to speak of it?



Today, with programs like affirmative action us Whites are the side being discriminated against. We have every right to speak on the subject.

Not quite, I was speaking on a broader baseline.

Anytime racism comes up...we expect it to be all Black...or at least part Black. We have no issue seeing an all black panel discussing it..noone even questions it.

Noone looks to allow whites to speak on it. Plenty of examples of this mindset in the thread, starting with the OP.


Every single time does not have to include both races in question....noone should bat an eye when 5 all white people talk about it.

We have just as much right to speak about it. Blacks dont own race discussions.



This subject is particularly infuriating to me as a father with 2 white children who now have to grow up in a world where Blacks will get certain advantages they wont. They might not get a school slot or job..not because of anything they did or did not achieve...but because there isnt enough "diversity" at the workplace.
"Diversity" is nothing but a code word for sanctioned racism against white people.

The new racism barely masks itself but it still remains true that minorities have been the ONLY historic victims of racism to the point it is symptomatic and the playing field is far from level. Stealing racism as reverse racism is cute but hardly historic except in KKK revisionist history.

 

Affirmative action and quotas exist, despite your attempt to pretend its KKK revisionist history. I'll mark you down as one of the new breed of racists. The kind that is ok with punishing White people who had nothing to do with black peoples suffering, in some mistaken belief that you can take it back, or make it right.

Turning the tables on people who never were a part of it, to benefit people who were also not a part of it...is not helping anyone.
