The situation isn't complex.

The land area known as Palestine was taken by the British in war. Then it was given to the Jews.

Muslims hate the Jews, and try to kill them. Israelis are better fighters and kick their ass.

Terrorists cry about how the Israelis won't let them kill them. Leftists ask what is wrong with the Israelis refusing to be killed.

I can understand that you don't. But I doubt that Trump, with all his Middle-east Advisers, wouldn't know that this would cause violent protests. Which would be much worse if he threw an "opening celebration". And the worst if he did it on "Nakba Day"

Therefore, he did it on purpose. He got people killed just so he could make a political show. Those people were both innocent and non-innocent people. But he got them all killed for his own puny enjoyment. How can anybody follow an inhuman ****** that would do that?

It was the Palestinians' choice to protest.

If Palestinians choose to die for stupid cause, then let them. Jerusalem was never a Palestinian capital, so there's no reason for them to whine about it, except to be divisive.

 

If you are ever going to have power over your own life- you must come to terms with a fundamental principle, which is you are responsible for everything you do, everything you say, everything you think, and everything you feel. As a child, your parents didn't want to call you careless or stupid, so they pretended that you weren't at fault. That bad habit started in the 60's is now everywhere- for example an ad on TV from a debt management company says, "Are you over your head in debt? It's not your fault." Like somebody held a gun to you and made you max out your credit cards.

When you ridicule others- IF they are immature and irresponsible, they will blame you for what they feel.
IF they are mentally mature adults and truly responsible, they will know your act is a reflection of who YOU are - not who THEY are.
If you can't do that , then other people own you, because you have given them the power to manipulate your feelings and your actions- you are a living puppet.
Then, since you can't control your own feelings, you get angry and demand they fix your ouchies, or try to get even. Things only get worse.
That's five-year old kid logic; NOT mature logic. The problem is we have a lot of adult bodies in the world being run by juvenile minds that can't think for themselves and accept responsibility properly. Thus, no matter what happens- a lot of them are always mad, always bitching, always demanding- and never getting the relief they think is owed to them, because they do not have the power to control who they are and how other people can mess with their heads.... even when they aren't trying to.

Not expecting you to understand a word of that. In the unlikely event you ever come to the point you do- your life will change dramatically and rapidly if you have the courage to accept it.
