63 percent of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track

    Here's RCP's averages on the direction of the country. If you scroll down past the first polls you see a graph going back to 2009

    You'll see the percentages for the right track was as high as 45% in June 2009, fell to a low of 17% in October of 2011. Rose then to 41% November of 2012 when Obama won reelection. Fell to 18% October 2013, back up to 35% right track in February 2015, then fell to 22% July of 2016 and Obama ended his presidency at 32% believing the country is on the right track. With Trump that fell to 28% October 2017, rose to 40% August 2018 and is currently at 34%.
