God picked Ridgecrest for the epicenter knowing if he picked L.A. the story wouldn't be the earthquake but the rioting, looting, mayhem that would still be taking place five days later.

Perhaps the epicenter of the latest earthquake was selected, not due to political affiliation, or as punishment for a perceived intolerance on the part of a specific group, but rather to demonstrate an example of how one should actually conduct themselves in the wake of a natural disaster.

No looting, no rioting, no murders, none of the behavior that has been demonstrated by others. Instead those affected demonstrated restraint, maturity, self-reliance, and the affected services were back up and running in a matter of days.

Perhaps the earthquake was to showcase the difference in character of the people.

Los Angeles liberal politicians are somewhat embarrassed that in Ridgecrest that is about 2/3 Republican there was no looting, no rioting, no murders, none of the behavior that you see from those who have the government monkey on their backs.

CNN didn't even report any cannibalism taking place if Ridgecrest, they did during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

The forum, staples center, dodger stadium, the Colosseum, all of the horse racing tracks-those will look like the stadium in NOLA during Katrina.

The only reason you are looking for a good narrative now is because it turns out God struck a "red" area.

You do realize the area isn't entirely red, it's nearly half blue.

So whatever your narrative, it's a massive load based on partisan bull.

That's all you people do, even when areas and people are struck with natural disasters.

    Despicable.

Did they succumb to animalistic tendencies to engage in rioting, looting, and murdering in response to the damage caused by the earthquake? Did these supposedly "despicable" individuals go out and pick entire stores clean and pay for nothing in the process?

The despicable individuals are the ones who take glee in other's suffering.

That's what people on the right do all the time.

It's right here in this thread.

And those on the left side of the political divide are entirely innocent of such negative character traits? They do not take glee in the suffering of others that they view as their enemies?

Link me to people on the left taking glee in people suffering from anything just because of their politics or where they live?

From 2001 to 2008 the left always blamed all natural disasters on G.W. Bush.

Now they blame all natural disasters on climate change.

That's is where your problem lie. The right *diss* the left for that behavior claiming that it is *common* for the left, yet as demonstrated in this thread, righties turned right around and wish for death and destruction and take glee at such a situation, but you don't call them out. So much fake moral virtue signaling by the supposed "Christians."

Who blamed natural disasters on Bush?

The only reason you all don't take climate change seriously is because of more partisan bull.

People tried to blame the fires last year on Trump.

No, Trump and his base were completely classless in regard to the fires, just as they are with this earthquake.

They take glee in other's suffering. That's my point.

The proof is again in this thread.

Aside from your silliness. It is sobering that the last quake with fatalities was 6.7 [Northridge]. That was quite frightening [literally thrown out of bed like a projectile , dogs baying in terror/ car alarms going off everywhere in total darkness.

Ridgecrest shows you can nearly drown in a quake

I don't recall any rioting, looting, mayhem in 1992. All those killed [57] were fatalities of the quake.

There was a fatality during the 7.1 Ridgecrest earthquake.

It occured over 100 miles away in Nevada not to far from the infamous Chicken Ranch. < https://chickenranchbrothel.com/ >

The epicenter was right next to the biggest conservative Republican bastion in L.A. County, Santa Clarita Valley and Canyon Country.

No power and water for days and cut off from the L.A. metropolitan area for weeks.

Most homes had generators and shared electricity with those Democrats who did not.

Most homes had guns in the area so no looting or anarchy.

There was some price gouging by ********s but we'll let it go at that.

Spreading lies hurts your credibility. And Santa Clarita replaced the Republican congressman with a Democratic woman just like Orange county.

Northridge was the worse earthquake I have experienced. If it had been as strong as the Ridgecrest quake we would have had more fatalities/ damage.

They just discovered the decomposing body on Tuesday.

To give everyone an idea how powerful a 7.1 that was only about 1/2 mile deep is, Perhump Nv. is 95 miles from Ridgecrest.
