Haven't watched any of the night time shows in years because of political bias. O'Reilly's debates with Letterman were great with Dave going down in flames routinely. I just lost another show to watch - Real Sports. Gumbel closed out the last program with a claim that Trump's racist tweets had inspired NFL players to protest during the national anthem in the spirit of all the great civil rights protests in the past. Bye bye Real Sports.

What reasonable restrictions would have stopped any of these events ??

No I'm saying that piece is pretty much a list of logical fallacies. You do know what they are, don't you?

The other thing that Kimmel et. al. always leave out is that after tragic events like LV gun sales spike. Why is that - because it is apparent that the gov cannot protect citizens against these types of events and people react to increase their self protection. There are always cries that something must be done but never any cogent suggestions on what would actually work. The claims that a law restricting the sale of suppressors (silencers) is an apt example.

    Utter BS in the OP.

The article in the OP is just their same old deranged BS that is spewed from Right Wingers obsessed with the 2nd Amendment.

    Kimmel was spot on.

That the FFs intended anything other than that the private individual has a right to own guns is revisionism at its most utterly absurd.

When seconds count - as they did in Vegas - the police are only minutes away.

Actually an hour in this case...

Kimmel doubled down on his nonsense tonight, claiming that those who disagreed with last night's deranged rant share some responsibility for the killing...

Kimmel is a part of the Hollywood elites now. He has to do what he can to please his limousine liberal over lords.

The FIRST federal gun regulation was enacted in 1934, by FDR. Our founders never sought to restrict individual ownership. For 150 years the federal government never drafted any legislation to restrict ownership. FDR, the commie that he was, established the national gun registry in 1938.

Well, he was a fascist and social democrat, not a communist; he was elected to suppress and redirect socialist and communist tendencies into what would come to be considered *good* fascism.

None of the late night shows are good or funny, so what else is there for the networks to turn to but left wing propaganda? Just like the rest of their schedule.

The NRA's influence is a direct result of the support of it's membership. Must be a lot of members. What do you think that suggests?

your "reasonable" restrictions dont work. There is already a Law on the books in every state that protects everyone from guns..

murder is illegal. If you commit murder you can get life in jail or even the death penalty.. so if someone was willing to risk death or the rest of there life in jail what lesser law would stop them??

do you really think that someone would be fine with committing murder but possibly having an illegal gun charge on there record is just to much for them so they will reevaluate there life?? Its absurd

If you are going to make a law that will infringe on peoples constitutional rights it better have the outcome that helps.. and NON of the proposed laws do a damn thing. For the longest time in Chicago you couldn't even own a gun in the city.. and year after year it was the murder capitol of the US..

Criminals dont give a **** about laws..

Trump is the twitter king. What does twitter have to do with these mass murders?

Do you think the "silent majority" is for mass murders? That's actually insane.
