If that's the case, doesn't it make this Bogus Partisan Impeachment of President Donald Trump by the House of Representatives illegitimate. Democrats have been screaming that President Trump is an illegitimate President, since the Election of 2016, so this is just proof to me that when almost 3 out of every 4 people polled don't think Congress is doing a good job, their opinions hold no merit. Bring on the Impeachment Liberals, you're going to pay for it come November 3rd 2020.

Congress can only envy Trump's approval numbers.

That's what's Ironic, the person (Trump) with the WAY! Higher approval numbers is being Impeached by the ones (Congress) with the WAY! LOWER approval numbers. Had the Democrats not controlled the House, this Impeachment FARCE! would have never happened, it's just a Hail Mary attempt in their Desperation to grasp at anything that will slow down the Donald Trump re-election Bullet Train heading towards November 3rd 2020.

GHW Bush was a quiet man who didn't know what kind of buzzsaw he was walking into.

John McCain was a collegial man who didn't know that what he was asking for would never be reciprocated.

Mitt Romney was a good and docile Mormon Bishop who still didn't know up from down in the arena.

    They all lost.

More than a year before the votes were counted Trump was savvy enough to know he was on his way to a knife fight, so he stropped his Bowie to a mirror finish, oiled the sheath, and belted it on. He's not been quiet, he's not been collegial, he's not been docile. That has made him beloved. Trump fights, Trump wins.

I am surprised it is only 72% that don’t approve.

    What a gruesome bunch.

72%? Doesn’t that mean the impeachment has lost the popular vote?

Since the 2010 Election when the GOP took control of The House, the GOP Congress had WORSE Numbers.

In the table provided in your link...

...the GOP Congress had some disapproval numbers north of 80.

A couple of months got as high as 86.

    Pot Meet Kettle, Etc...:salute:

Adding the requisite "Of lonely retired widows watching daytime TV" preface to any polling results, Congress's approval rating may actually be only 5-10% among the general public.

Each enjoy higher approval in their respective districts than trump* does.

Who would have thought people don’t like individuals they didn’t vote for?
Oh, the 75 Million people that were overruled by 63 Million people should have been a historical indication.

It's not Trumps fault Hillary was too stupid to not campaign in states that were KEY! to winning the Electoral College, which is HOW! we elect Presidents in this Country. Trump knew the Game and played it to perfection, which is why he's in the White House and Hillary is on the Sour Grapes tour complaining and blaming everyone else but herself. Would love to see her try again and lose again, because the reasons she lost haven't disappeared, plus nobody wants to see a bunch of young Female interns quivering in fear as Bill Clinton enters the front door of the White House with a box of Cuban Cigars and a big smile on his face

Wow, such and impressive rant! Full of strawmen and irrelevancies! Did you come up with it on your own?

What part are you having trouble with, I will be happy to source my remarks.
The only thing that is surprising is your complete ignorance on every topic you choose to enter into.
trump would kill someone in the middle of 5th Avenue to have these types of numbers.

Do you understand what an irrelevance is?
    Or what a strawman is?

Neither of them deal with matters of truthfulness...

It's relevant to what you posted, you're complaining that Hillary won the popular vote 75 Million to 63 Million, but Trump is in the White House. Don't like the system, go out and change it, but until than, Liberals need to nominate a Candidate that is smart enough to play the Presidential Election according to the RULES! that Win it, not lose and than complain for the next 4 years that they got cheated. It's like Democrats trying to argue that 2 10's is a better hand than an Ace and Jack in Blackjack and are angry the house took their Money.

Disapproval of Congress is often high. The problem is the American voter. They keep voting in the same kind of people if not the same people. You don't like what your person in Congress is doing? Yank them home, have a recall, get them out of office. Most Americans have never seen their Congressperson in person much less written, called or talked to them. Maybe people get what they deserve.

Pretty sad when you rig the primaries, get fed debate questions, manufacture some BS "dossier"...weaponize the executive branch and the FBI and STILL lose!

I never once “complained” that Hillary lost — I don’t care honestly — I said “Who would have thought people don’t like individuals they didn’t vote for?” With an example of the 2016 election showing that people do not typically like people they did not vote for.

You are the only person here discussing the electoral college.
Or Hillary Clinton (hope you are charging her rent to live in your head)
Or the rules of the presidential election
Or you whining about democrats whining
    Or gambling

So again, stawmen, rants, and irrelevancy seem to be all you have.

No different then the way you Liberals let Trump live in your Heads every minute of the Day, since November 2016. We all know you hate Trump and are sore about the outcome of the 2016 Election. You Liberals just better prepare yourselves for another 5 Glorious Years of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America.

trump is literally on every news station, most radio station, most comedy skits, most newspapers — almost like he is the brash bankrupt president* of the United States.

He doesn’t live in our heads, he is literally everywhere (what do you expect electing a narcissistic reality tv star).

So again, I hope you are charging Clinton — a private citizen — who is rarely anywhere, a heady rent for the space she has permanently occupied in your head. Once trump* is removed, the only time he will be mentioned will be to dismiss the “moral outrage” from the right.
