Feeling embarrassed that you're a failure? Too bad. I wantto witness more of it.

Why? You being a failure doesn't effect me at all, except to bring me humor.

Stop giving so much welfare to the Republican red states?

    GREAT idea!

Soon you will be on your knees begging for those handouts once again.

    Then you agree.

Lets find out what happens. I and all my conservative friends are up for it.

Start lobbying your Congressmen to cut welfare AND remove the mandates and federal regulations on red states.

You being a failure isn't my issue at all. As I already stated, your failures are humorous to me.

The South would fall apart within weeks. It'd be a bigger loss for them then the Civil War was, when we kicked traitor asses like Jeff Davis' and Bob Lee's.

Why do you hesitate? If the red states will collapse, then its definitive proof that "progressives" are correct and the debate is over. You should be thrilled to run this experiment. Or are you afraid that it won't turn out the way you claim, in which case it would be then end of "progressives" for centuries?

Economists and historians already know what would happen. Conservativism has been an abject failure, when it comes to austerity in a recession like we just experienced, or the bubbles that conservatives foster, which become recessions.

    - - - Updated - - -

Secessionists are a bunch of whining (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es. They gripe that they have to follow the U.S. Constitution, when their states signed on to being a part of the US, and gave up the right of secession.

    LOL, total BS.

But even if you are correct, many, many people do not agree with you and will not believe you. They will have to learn through experience. So let them learn, if you are correct then you should have no concerns, your result will end conservatism and guarantee "progressivism" rules the land. Its a complete win-win for you.

Put your money where your mouth is, call your Congressmen and start pushing to cut federal funding, regulation, and mandates of all those red states. Support the Tea Party, support states rights. If you are right, then it wont be very long before they all come groveling back.

But I suspect you and the "progressives" will never, ever want to run that experiment because you know it won't go your way.

Well, yes. Conservatives are driven by their emotions, and reject logic and critical thinking.

Not really. Many conservatives lived through the time the U.S. was more progressive than it is now, and they griped and whined, even though the economy was better, and still supported ideas that became failures, like deregulation, supply side tax cuts, and more. The experience still left conservatives, especially their leaders, ignorant.

First, it's not up to me. Second, theUS is a nation, and the drag on the economy in the South would still hurt the rest of the American economy. And third, the revenues would drop from your regressive experiment, and thus would stick us with larger deficits, or a need to raise taxes to meet the loss in revenue. The South isn't an island, and when they signed and ratified the US Constitution, they agreed to be a complete state in the United States, and to not be able to secede. That means we all prosper from good laws, or suffer through bad. Overall we've had a pretty good run as a nation. But that just means we should always strive to make the nation better.

As I stated above, why would I allow my own state, and the U.S. to suffer from your bad ideas?you guys wouldn't suffer alone. I'm fact, you'd have a better shot at getting the TeaBaggeds to all move to some remote, backwater nation, in the Middle East, Africa or Asia, and try to forge your own path. Then see how it works out.

I tend to put the USA first, before some crazy ideals of dismantling the US Constitution, like the right wing nut, TeaBaggeds want.

You couldn't become me on your best day and my worst day, no matter how hard you try to be a success. But again, you trying to flatter me isn't going to make you look any better than any other failure.

That's probably the most confused post I have read in this forum. Do you even know what conservatives and "progressives" stand for? Sure doesn't look like it,

Conservatives are, indeed, driven by hate and anger. The disgusting and racist placards shown during the Tea Party parades, the Westboro rallies, the actions during the pro Cliven Bundy rallies in which guns were aimed at police and other law enforcement officials, the endless hate spewed by Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh in their shows - all demonstrate a lack of rationality and reason. And all this only scratches the surface - beneath it all is contempt for the USA and everything good that it stands for.

It's all part of the Dem plan... tell a lie over and over again and eventually it becomes truth.

Did you hear Obama announce a tax rebate for the middle class last night?

Yeah, i didn't either. Just more lip service.

Just a gentle reminder that President Obama offered to close foreign tax shelters that enrich the wealthy but Republicans refused to do so.

Just a gentle reminder that George W. Bush authorized tax rebate checks to be sent to every taxpayer in the United States not once, but twice during his presidency. Why doesn't Barack H. Obama stop worrying so much about rich folks and send a little help to working stiffs in this country?

The northern states have always had more manufacturing, whereas the southern states depended on slave labor. The north also strives for equality, wheres the south has many people with lower educational levels. Don't give into the "post hoc, ergo propter hoc" fallacy.

Obama has created far more tax credits and his new one proposes $175 billion more (if the news report are accurate).
