How many times do I have to tell you to read the police report and see Greg McMichaels admits he was 1) attempting a CA and 2) they tried to box in arbery IE detain him?

He's being agg assaulted: That per se puts one in fear of a grievous bodily injury or death. That's what happens when you assault someone and you're armed while doing it. That merits force in return. He doesn't have to retreat, Georgia has a stand your ground law.

Still waiting for you to realize that the video shows only half the encounter, and McMichael's admissions in the police report show he did not have the proper predicate for a citizen's arrest.

I haven't run from anything, I've answered your questions. You just don't like being wrong dude.

Because he's not required to retreat or comply with brigands? You can find his actions practically foolish, but that wouldn't effect his right to self defense. He has a right to charge the man agg assaulting him if he wants to, so long as he only uses reasonable force, whether or not that's likely to end up with a bullet in him.

Greg McMichael never mentions a citizen's arrest in the police report. Here's the description:

Which statement(s) do you see as his admission that he was attempting a CA?

Thanks for nothing Mr Fancy Lawyer. I've already posted the relevant Georgia statutes in this thread. So you want to talk about the 4th Amendment with Terry v Ohio....notably not a Georgia case but a 4th Amendment case. Okay, I'll quote from it, but you didn't answer a damn thing about self-defense and the issue I gave you.....that's called a dodge.

    From your case:

"The facts of this case are illustrative of a proper stop and an incident frisk. Officer McFadden had no probable cause to arrest Terry for anything, but he had observed circumstances that would reasonably lead an experienced, prudent policeman to suspect that Terry was about to engage in burglary or robbery. His justifiable suspicion afforded a proper constitutional basis for accosting Terry, restraining his liberty of movement briefly, and addressing questions to him, and Officer McFadden did so."

Stop and frisk is legal for anything....hello NYC and comrade DeBlasio.

But we're not talking 'stop and frisk' here now are we?

:roflol::roflol: Oh really? Good luck with that. Open carry is legal in Georgia....so you are saying that anyone that is carrying is assaulting someone if they tell them they want to have a word with them? You must be joking. :roflol::roflol:

@superbadbrutha There is a recording of the incident....the elder McMichaels was on the phone giving a play by play as it happened.

I'll be glad when this is over. So will the glass companies in Georgia. Nothing like a good ole riot as an excuse to break glass and steal TVs, shoes, and liquor.

There isn't a recording of when they cut Arbery off. My how many long for the good old days when you could kill a black man and then have a picnic afterwards.

Open carry is legal. Brandishing a firearm is illegal.

The video shows McMichaels blocking the path of Arbery in a vehicle, and one of them on foot. Both brandishing firearms. McMichaels admits to trying to detain Arbery. As they did not witness a crime first hand, nor have reasonable suspicion of a felony, their attempted detention was illegal. It’s why they are in jail charged with murder and aggravated assault.

    From the arrest warrant:

Well, we know that part is a lie. They parked in the middle of the street and Travis got out of the car with the shotgun waiting for him. They didn't "pull up beside" him. Then when Arbery tried to run around the truck Travis moved to intercept.

If this is where they claim to politely ask him to stop then that is a lie as well.

You said loading in my car, I don't load my car in the middle of the street I do it on private property. So yes if I was on someone else's private property without permission and loading anything yes call the police on me. Try to get me to stick around for the police to come as long as you do so within the law.

He was seen illegally inside a private property. He had been seen before acting suspicious and even threatening as if he was armed so the persons who called the police had every right to believe he could be armed and would express that again.

LEGALLY holding a long gun. No evidence it was ever pointed towards him or a threat issued with it. And he ran towards them and assaulted Travis.

Put it in the proper context of what happened, don't inject what didn't happen here to which I have already answered.

There are 3 recordings, one 911 when Travis McMichael SAW Arbery enter the house, another 911 call from his father during the shooting, and another from the cell video.

They are going to walk. The thug lost.

Is he required to run at them and then assault one of them? He should have just stood his ground and ask what do you want and why. But he had just committed a crime and he was trying to flee the area and the last things he wanted was for the police who that guy back at the house was calling to show up. He had to ramp it up to get away so he tried to disarm a legally armed citizen and in that struggle the gun was discharged and is most like to happen in such a struggle. It could just as easily have been Travis who was killed. Who was responsible for that long gun to be subject of a struggle?

We have the text messages with the police discussing the recent breakings and them telling English if he sees another to contact McMicheal as he is right there. The gun had been stolen. He was recognized previously. Why do you keep ignoring things we actually hear?

Well it's a pretty smart thing to do instead of running AT them and then making a bee line to Travis to assault him and illegally take his long gun from him. Don't you think it would have worked out better if he had simply stopped and told the residents of neighborhood what he was doing? OH THAT'S right what he was doing was fleeing from a burglary someone had just witnessed and was most likely talking to the police on that phone he had pressed to his ear. Yeah I think everything he had done previously leading up to that day was HIGHLY FOOLISH, absolutely stupid and it got him killed. Evidence does not show they were assaulting Arbery and this prosecutor is going to have a hard time showing that. They had every right to assume Arbery was armed and face him with equal force as long as they were legally carrying that force.

At no time did McMichaels see Arbery enter a house.

You can’t aim a firearm at someone without cause. We know McMichaels did not have the authority to detain Arbery. McMichaels is seen on video pointing a firearm at Arbery. That is illegal.

He did not run at them. They purposefully blocked his path. This is seen in the video, and McMichaels admits this to police. No crime was committed by Arbery, nor did McMichaels witness one which is required in order for them to detain him. They then brandished firearms illegally at Arbery. He had the absolute right to defend himself against the attempted kidnapping McMichaels was in the process of.

Nothing in your post is correct. The video shows McMichaels chasing and then cutting off Arbery, not Arbery running toward them. McMichaels admits this to police. They did not witness a crime by Arbery, which is required for them to detain him. They brandished firearms. Arbery has the absolute right to defend himself against the attempted kidnapping McMichaels was attempting.

We have a text message where the cop told English to hit up Greg McMichaels. The police have one theft on RECORD, the gun being stolen. Nothing else. When did the McMichaels EVER see him on surveillance? The homeowner stated he NEVER had any contact with the McMichaels. Also produce the video where Arbery broke into the house through the back, please back up that fairy tale.

You mean where you made up he said he attempted a citizen's arrest on the video? Where? Quote him saying that. Go ahead. You just made that up too.

Once again as predicted you ran away from citing in the video where agg assault was committed on your criminal or quoting the part of the law that backs you up. How many times are you going to prove me right?

So once again you admit you have no video evidence of your laughable claims. Got it.

You've run each and every time I've challenged you to cite the part of the law and the video evidence where your criminal was in fear of his life based on the actions of McMichaels in the video and the corresponding law that backs you.

And you've run again as predicted.

Of course not. Just like the habitual liars in here who keep claiming the guns were brandished but are too stupid to read the law on what brandishing actually is.

Yeah, it's the same crap over and crap. Like McMichaels was pointing the shotgun at Arbery....total bs. I'm not even gonna link a 911 audio because they won't even listen to it. May as well quit replying since we are just feeding the trolls. You can't even have an intelligent conversation when one of them keeps playing the race card and a pack of others are just making **** up.

Its the same racist morons who went after Zimmerman claiming he was a racist when he mentored 2 black kids in his neighborhood who didn't have a father. But again, the racists were too stupid to do any real research just like here.
