And THAT would be an exercise guaranteed by our Constitutions 10th amendment, but if passed it should receive NO funding by the Federal government. Most all our Federal economic problems could be solved by repealing the 16th amendment, and returning most every internal spending responsibility back to the individual States to tax their citizenry for the wants and needs of the democratic majority of each individual State. Let Democracy thrive in each State without allowing it to kill our Republic. People would have much greater control over government, taxes, and spending when they have easy access to those they elected to represent them, and government would be much more rationally controlled when the people are seeing how THEIR money is being put to use.

Is anyone going to actually explain how this is going to be paid for?

US consumers of health care spend 70% more on themselves than the British Government spends on each citizen. What is wrong with this picture ??

Bollocks. What you know of the evolution into Social Democracy from Socialism would fit a thimble.

And given the words is in red above, you don't know how to read English either.

If ignorance were bliss, you'd be in heaven ...

Yes, because it is a worthless observation.

UBI is intended solely to provide the poor a baseline personal-situation from which to recover confidence, pursue perhaps studies and to finally improve their lot in life.

It becomes perfectly meaningless to anyone who starts earning a serious salary above the median wage in a country ....

This isn't a cunning response. Refer me to one political economist that refers to an evolution from socialism to social democracy (Hint: there isn't one)

Silly question. All UBI funds will be supplied by the unicorns.

It seems that way. A lot of people are all for it, yet none have even attempted to explain how to pay for it.

Or you could replace 'unicorns' above with the word 'unborn'.
Those being born today face a debt of $20,467,375,664,755.32 on which they will be taxed, if not to pay down the principal, at a minimum the interest.
