you're totally missinformed of course. The wall is stupid- what we need is a ID card for work-the only solution. Like all the other modern countries have with this problem. Like the 2010 Democratic immigration bill which the GOP stopped. Because communism. You are being taken advantage of. Poor America

Perhaps we need to do away with the idea that no man is honorable until he proves it and assume that all men are honorable until they prove differently.

And not Republicans? Actually more Republicans LOL. Pass the ID card and end the GOP immigration scam end of story. Google the only tax graph you need to know with IRS statistics that show we have a flat tax system. Google fact left to the demise of the middle class which has been going to hell since Reagan. Of course. Why are we the only modern country without a living wage health Care daycare paid parental leave cheap college and training that is cheap college and training for crying out loud. No sacrifice is too great to save your heroes the greedy idiot rich.

No. we treat people respectfully- which is not the same as respecting them, it is giving them the benefit of the doubt until they prove other wise without putting things at risk.
That provides that person with the fair opportunity; it does not give them the keys to the city. It doesn't pre-label them as not being respectable; it provides an open door to demonstrate who they are.

You own the demise of the middle class. PNTR for China care of Bill Clinton did the job. Bubba owns a component of the meltdown ,,, the component that imported Chinese Drywall. Cuomo owns two components. He failed to fund OFHEO and ordered Fannie and Freddie to buy mortgages extended to people who couldn't afford the payments.

Of course you don't care, because you know you know I'm right. The income tax rate tables are progressive. Anyone who earned an income would know that. Payroll taxes are not progressive until the factor that high income earners donate their payroll taxes and to low earners they are poor investments ,,, investments made poor by Democrats.

    Straight from the IRS statistics

But here is really the only tax graph you need: It's total tax burden by income group. And as you'll see, every income group is paying something, and the rich aren't paying much more, as a percentage of their incomes, then the middle class.Sep 19, 2012

We had a white leader that set the stage for the Democrat Party today. LBJ in '63 said this, and see if it doesn't apply today!

"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference."

You are absolutely right and that was bi-partisan. However, the War on Poverty was just what LBJ prescribed.. He incentivized black women to have children out of wedlock and built projects for them to raise their broken families in. The message to them was.....you are pretty much incapable to do for yourselves, so the Democrat Party must take care of you from here on in. Welcome to the "government plantation."

This is absolutely true. For the last 30 to 40 years democrats have controlled the largest cities in the US. So I ask black people what have they done for you other than destroy the black family???

Yeah that might be my view too if I had my head up my butt. The figures speak for themselves. Travel a little bit see the great Democrat paradises like Boston, New York, Newark, Buffalo, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit, Flint, Gary Indiana, Toledo, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Memphis, South Chicago, Stockton and Oakland California. Get the picture?

i have ideas, unlike you and people you support. Well, you do have ideas but your ideas are things like defunding police, doing nothing about crime and blaming everything on racism. How is that working? Mike brown was many years ago, where has that led to?

How about we reform police by INVESTING more $$ in police! The problem is the opposite of what you support, the problem is we don’t spend enough on police, it’s why we have 7k black on black murders, police are not equipped, underpaid, understaffed.

So how about this - we hire more police, we train them better in use of deadly force (there are alternatives to using deadly force in many scenarios), we pay them more (you get what you pay for) and we encourage programs that get cops more integrated in communities.

How’s that? Sounds much better than defunding police and treating them like pigs.

then let’s have the tough conversations about the much bigger problems facing inner cities - crime (7k blacks killed by other blacks!!), lack of good schools and culture - raising kids the wrong way, instilling all wrong values in them. How about we offer those kids school choice? Everytime republicans like Ted cruz proposes something, democrats shoot him down yet what have democrats done to improve schools in inner cities? Cities under their control for decades? How about our black leaders stop blaming whites for everything and start telling blacks in their communities to hold themselves accountable? To raise their kids in the right way? To obey the law, to not resist arrest, to get a job, to stop having kids as teenagers and have safe sex? This takes years to change but it starts with messaging, the same old ‘keep doing what you are doing, it’s not your fault, it’s racism’ message ain’t working!

You have better ideas? Than just defund police and keep telling all these people racism is to blame for everything in life?

I see you answer is that you support the authoritarian state and the status quo of intensifying the abuse and thus have nothing but the sad old ideas that have proven to be a failure of policy.

Perhaps they're just too dumb to see all the love emanating from President Trump and his supporters he said sarcastically.

    hahaha

i got laugh at this since it is so pathetic. First, you ignore facts, then you ask for ideas which i provide, then you are lazy and refuse to provide your own solutions. Talk about supporting the same old ideas that have failed democratic run cities for decades - blame racism, allow crime to run rampant, attack police. This hasn’t worked for decades and why democratic run cities are the worst for black people. It’s people like you that are to blame for nothing changing, you have no solutions and are misguided, misinformed. Sad.

According to the Washington Post? I don't have time for you, but here are the facts I assembled a while back about the capital gains tax rate, the rate whiners whine about when they are overcome by envy ,,,

The best GDP growth rates occurred in 1997 (4.5%), 1998 (4.5%), and 1999 (4.7%) after the passage of the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997.

    https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-105publ34/pdf/PLAW-105publ34.pdf

As a result of cutting the Long Term Capital Gains Tax Rate, LT Capital Gains Tax Collections increased from

    $58.782B in 1996 to

    $69.572B in 1997 to

    $80.611B in 1998 to

    $91.416B in 1999

    http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/statistics/historical-capital-gains-and-taxes

This is no surprise. Long Term Capital Gains rates were increased for 1987. Tax Revenues from LT Capital Gains took a beating, dropping from

    $50.834B in 1986 to

    $31.791B in 1987

But that's not the whole story. The GDP growth rate dropped from 1985 (4.2%) to 1986 & 1987 (3.5%) due to the 1986 passage of the LT Capital Gains rate increase legislation and its implementation in 1987.

This was, of course, a bipartisan poor choice, reversing the slashing of LT Capital Gains rates in 1981 that dragged us out of Carter's stagflation and gave us impressive GDP growth rates in 1983 (4.6%) and 1984 (7.3%)

Instead we got Black Monday at the beginning of the final quarter of 1987.

You claimed to want to fund wondrous things for society using the loss of tax revenue that would result from targeting sources of income of wealthy people

Missed the point. You don't need many billionaire backers you do need bucket loads of people and if they are economically dependent on you or believe they are they will keep voting for you in order to keep the spigot open.

Incentivized hell he all but forced them to.

When the government pays you more money to have a child but significantly less if you have a husband, that makes bearing out if wedlock children all but compulsory.
