Given this passage from US Code, Title 8 (ALIENS AND NATIONALITY) Chapter 12 (IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY), Subchapter II (IMMIGRATION), Part II (Admission Qualifications for Aliens; Travel Control of Citizens and Aliens) ยง 1182 (Inadmissible aliens) https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1182 Can someone please point out to me in that section where is says the President can't ban aliens coming from the countries that congress has deemed a security threat. Also can you point to where it says that every other President can impose a travel ban, except Donald Trump? It seems that the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals have ruled this way, so I am wondering am I missing something? I am guessing that the 9th Circuit Court has ruled based on political reasons rather than based on Law, but I would like to confirm if I am correct.
