This is my first attempt to create the simplest possible standard of law that covers all the bases of a free society under any circumstances. Helpful criticisms are appreciated.

    The Rules
    1. The law may only limit or prohibit liberty, it may not grant it or mandate it.
    2. The law may not limit or prohibit any behavior that doesn't qualify as a form of Violence, Vandalism, or Fraud against the innocent.
    3. Anyone not known to have broken the law is innocent.

    Definitions
    1. Violence is any behavior intended to harm or kill the innocent.
    2. Vandalism is any behavior intended to damage or destroy the property of the innocent.
    3. Fraud is any behavior involving the use of deception to compel the innocent to harm themselves physically or financially or to relinquish their property without fair compensation.
