    I am going to speak now about what my mother remembers about 'weigh less one,' and i cannot remember the author, but it was not written by me. basically, you get to eat a lot, but, you need to stick to it for at least three or four days in a row before you break it, okay? I suggest doing it week days, and then breaking on weekends, as that is what i did - it worked for me and i hope it works for you too. this diet will give you so much 'energy' that you will literally run around screaming with wanting to live life to the fullest, well, that is what happened to me! no refined sugar is allowed, but sugar from fruit will make your day!

    So, you need to follow the following daily;

    For women: [protein] 3 servings [fat] 3 servings - 30 grams = 1 serving [fruit] 3 servings [vegetables] 3 servings [diary] 3 serve, one serving is 75 m.l. [carbs/starch] 4 servings

    For men: [protein] 4 servings one s = 40 grams [fat] 3 servings [fruit] 4 servings - 100 ml juice = one serving [vegetables] 4 servings [dairy] 3 serve of 75 m.l. each - yogurt, eggs, milk tea = 30 cups [carbs/starch] 5 servings

    [You may eat as much lettuce as you like too!]

    Why not try it? You will see slight changes immediately after about two days, and then the kilos just shed after your body gets used to doing this. please use common sense with serving amounts, or, a table spoon for those you think should use one.

    Genetics play a big part in dieting success...
    :confusion:
    Dieting Success May Depend on Your Genetics
    July 15, 2016 - It seems like every week there’s a new diet that guarantees weight loss and good health. The Mediterranean diet, or the low carb diet, the Japanese diet are just a few of the latest fads. Now, a new study has found that your genes can play a big role in determining which diet works for you.

    Everything in moderation works for me. 75KG at 6 feet, BMI = a smidgeon over 21, and unchanged for the last 7 years. :cool:

    Sadly, I live in the U.S. so this won't help.

    Anything for shedding pounds?

    :wink:

    Age plays an important part. When I was 49 I lost weight fairly easily, now in my 60s it is hard as heck. Putting on muscle helps.

    As a species I believe we are designed to starve half the time and eat as much as we can when the food is available. Now that food is available 24/7 it is nearly impossible not to put weight on.

    Some medicines make you put on weight and make it hard to lose weight as well.

    I've been gluten free for about 4 years now, have 3 to 4 square meals a day, and weigh less than when I graduated from high school. And that was a long time ago!
