Maybe you should not read "image" too literally. We are conscious and creative. So is God.

    Here is the thing.

In order for any Entity or Construct to have the asserted abilities that such a GOD is said to have....such a GOD would have knowledge of every position of every Quantum Particle/Wave Form existing in all Divergent Universal States in a Multiversal System.

Such data storage capacity would need to be comprised of as many Particles as presently would exist in all Universal States.

    This is an impossibility.

God isn’t a computer. Theological tradition has it that while God is complex in function, He is simple in Structure. If the analogy helps you: a simple mathematical formula can describe very complex functions. That he doesn't understand these philosophical distinctions of complexity is the one big flaw in Dawkins " Ultimate Boeing 747 gambit ". Just like you he seems to think that when theologians talk about God, they mean an old beardy geezer sitting on a cloud.

(Love this video, even though it lacks the former Archbishop's cute razor-joke)

    Your post doesn't wash.

I have no interest of trying to argue the existence of a GOD with others but rather delve into the possibilities of a GOD'S existence as I very much wish this to be a reality....as unlikely as it might seem.

Seemed to me that you wanted to discuss just that. However, if you wish God exists, my advice would be to pray and meditate. You may get an answer.

The thing is I am fairly certain the way you thing a GOD exists....is not a reality.

IF...there is a GOD....it is nothing like we have ever read about nor is it anything we can directly associate with given our current states.

Thing is: I’m absolutely certain that God does exist. I’m also fairly certain that He’s beyond our human understanding. We do get some tiny glimpses of Him here and there though. Well, some of us do, the others just don’t notice. When you notice, it's awesome.

How would you know I'm fabricating a story? You weren't there, in fact, if God cannot lie, His word is truth, and all scripture is God breathed, and useful for correcting then my reconciliation of the events is a fact.

What makes you say that? What do you think He/she/it would be like?

'god' never said a word, not wrote a word

ie.... god aint the one lying

both lies (proof of previous comment)

now anyone can see which 'god' is lying.

I’m sure that that quote does not mean you are supposed to correct scripture, and that’s just what you are doing. You are making things up that just aren’t in the Bible. They are clearly a lame fabrication and just fact in your head and nowhere else. Sorry.

since you're calling me a liar, and I have yet to do the same to you, i'll just ask you to prove it.

I’m not calling you a liar. I’m sure you believe what you say – or at least that you really really want to believe it. But that doesn’t make it true.

Once again, that is what the logical fallacy is called. Sorry about pointing out that your argument was an example of the fallacy.

Observational evidence that ex nihilo creation was possible, for one.

OK, well I guess I misunderstood you. So could you give me and example of making things up?

Ok, what would be an example of that observational evidence?
