This guy has 2 and 3 year old kids - kids he didn't have when he said he'd voluntarily in 2010. So he either thought having the kids would erase his illegal alien crimes, or he didn't care. Either way, he screwed those kids and as the left loves to say 'that's not who we are.' See ya, Pablo.

 

I hate these stories. On the one hand I feel for him, his wife, and especially the children. On the other hand, I think people would be less likely to flagrantly disobey the law like he did, if the laws were enforced more often.

 

Agreed. I want everyone here illegally held accountable, but throwing the dad out just means the kids will be on the dole, and lives are perpetually ruined. We've ****ed ourselves in that sense.

 

The kids can go with the father to Ecuador, a country I was repeatedly told on this board was not a shithole.

Parents that knowingly and willing put themselves in a situation that would separate them from their children aren't really the type of people we need in America. We have enough idiot citizens who punish their children with their own bad acts, adding foreigners to the mix is just stupid for America...

That illustrates another negative side-effect of not enforcing our immigration laws more effectively. Now we will have two essentially fatherless children here being raised by a mother who may or may not be able to support them on her own without the father's help.

Marriage should grant temporary immigration status so long as they are living together and remain married. It may not be his right to be here but any citizen should have the right to have their spouse with them in America.

 

I hate that children of drug dealers are seperated when their parent is sent to jail but this is reality.

This a joke? I have to have a special ID to get on base to do my job. I am suprised they only asked for a driver license at first.

I have to go through an anal exam every time I go onto a military base. They run a background check, ask me where my gun is(because I have an LTC) and verify that I have insurance. Then they insist that my sponsor who signs me in has to keep me in sight as we drive to my work site. I have had a secret security clearance for almost 30 years since I was in the military and my son has a top secret clearance. I have been background checked several times/year for 24 years for my job. I've been fingerprinted and drug tested.

If I have to go through all of that, I'm glad that they are enforcing the law on people who break the law.

 

It's kind of absurd for a place to be high security enough to require an ID for entry and also allow pizza deliveries from outside, so forgive me for struggling to make sense of a situation that's objectively kind of ridiculous.

Also, I'm not joking. Every employee ought to be spitting in every pizza that goes here from now on. That's what solidarity is.

 

Its hard to disagree with Steve...even if she is his wife...so long as after 3 to 6 months he is allowed to reapply for immigration status. He should face some punishment for his crime.
