Gee, that sounds just like a question that I posed to you earlier on in the discussion,,,, to which you have not given a responsive answer.

You were criticizing me before you post the scriptures.......so I was not referring to it. And I still don't know what was the purpose or reason for posting it.

The answer to the OP is simple.

    Love. Nuff said.

That's a very abroad statement and that's not what those who were inspired to write the New Testament called it.

As the link explained--it is a "mystery of faith."

What is a "Mystery of Faith?"

In essence it is Jesus the Christ.
    1 Corinthians 2 :1-2
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not in loftiness of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of Christ. For I judged not myself to know anything among you, but Jesus Christ: and him crucified.

A Mystery is defined as follows:
    So...

Although we can know of the revelation of the Kingdom as Jesus proclaimed through his life, suffering, death, and Resurrection, we cannot penetrate the Truth of it until it is consummated in our full communion with the Divine Godhead. And that...we have to wait for.

To claim otherwise is the sin of pride.

Whatever. Explore the sin of pride and see what is reflected back.

No, Jesus did not speak of His death, suffering and resurrection for those three and a half years. He never told anyone, not even His disciples what He was going to go through until the time of His crucifixion was near.

Nope, Jesus is not the kingdom.......Jesus preached about the kingdom for three and a half years.....He did not preached about Himself nor did He preach Calvary.

And Paul was speaking to people who were already Christians whom had already heard the gospel and are now members in the Church. The message that is given to Christians is not the same message that you give to those outside the Church. The kingdom message is basically for those outside the Church. But those in the Church are given a message about Christian living......how a Christian should live. And the kind of message would depend on how spiritually mature they are.

To be able to begin to understand what the kingdom of God is, one has to get rid of the false belief that Heaven is where they are going when Jesus returns.....that belief denies the gospel and makes Jesus out to be a lair.

And pride can come from the accuser.....remember what Jesus said about judging another?

What did Jesus say? Were you there to hear Jesus make a statement regarding anything?

Really? One of those Parables you're so fond of is quite explicit in the analogy presented.

    Mark.12

    [1]
And he began to speak to them in parables. "A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge around it, and dug a pit for the wine press, and built a tower, and let it out to tenants, and went into another country.
[2] When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, to get from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.
[3] And they took him and beat him, and sent him away empty-handed.
[4] Again he sent to them another servant, and they wounded him in the head, and treated him shamefully.
[5] And he sent another, and him they killed; and so with many others, some they beat and some they killed.
[6] He had still one other, a beloved son; finally he sent him to them, saying, `They will respect my son.'
[7] But those tenants said to one another, `This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'
[8] And they took him and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
[9] What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants, and give the vineyard to others.
[10] Have you not read this scripture: `The very stone which the builders rejected
    has become the head of the corner;
[11] this was the Lord's doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes'?"

From your assertions concerning what these "big bad church Christians" believe, you are very ignorant about what various Christian faiths ACTUALLY teach in their places of worship. I don't know what you gain by flailing at this straw man, but I'm fairly sure (as I noted) pride is at the root--and you know who :)twisted:) is at the root of pride. ;)

Agape love and if you do not know what it means:

This is the summation of the life of Christ. It includes nothing before or after the Gospels.

He only gave that parable once and He was speaking to the Pharisees and He never told them that the parable was about Himself. When Jesus finally told His disciples that He was going to be crucified, He spoke it plainly at the end of His ministry and when He did they understood what He was telling them would happen to Him. So there is a big difference between telling one or two parables of which the meaning is unknown to the listener and coming out and actually say it plainly to them.

Like I said to someone else, you can preach love and still have no idea what the gospel is. Jesus never said to His disciples; preach love around the world to all people. He said, Preach the gospel of the kingdom around the world. That is the reason why Jesus never preached Himself......Jesus is not the gospel.....He brought it and preached it and commands us to do so as well. But one cannot preach something they don’t know or believe its something that it is not. Which means, that we must study the Bible…..to know at least what is a kingdom and where will the kingdom of God be.....will it be on the Earth or in Heaven? What does the Bible say on this matter?

    Actually that isn't true.
Jesus often engaged the Pharisees, who spent their waking hours trying to trip Him up. He didn't fear those that questioned Him, and had the arguments to meet them, unlike so many of the Christians that post on boards. They hate to be engaged, and resent it when they are.

I really do not get what you are asking for. I know full well the Gospels content as well as all that follows. The message that can be gained from the Gospels by the reader today is Love. Christs message was not death it was Love through the grace of the Father who loved the world so much that he sent His Son as atonement for our sins. Love pure and simple.

Well, they engaged Him.....He was not the one that was confronting them. He only spoke to them because they were trying to entrap Him in one thing or the other. So for the most part Jesus avoided them.

Sorry, but if that's what you believe the gospel is then you don't know what it is. The fact that you avoided my questions is an indication that you don’t.

No you asked and I do not play games with God. There is no argument there is no need. Is there more in the Gospels? Yes. What is the message in the Gospels? Love but within that message there is a context. The context of life.

Regardless you are playing a game. You are not seeking wisdom or answers; you are looking for a fight in which you make the rules and you discount what you choose to. This thread is pointless and that is why you have very few answers to your OP.

Christians as a whole fail to see that Jesus never refer to God's system as religious.......He called it the kingdom of God. A kingdom is not a religion.....it is a government. That is why Jesus said in His parables the kingdom of God is like this or that..... The parables are fictional story that Jesus use to help us understand what God's kingdom is like. He also use it to cloak the gospel in, that way those whom the Father was not calling would not understand the message or point He was making.

Now if that is what you wanted you would probably have never gotten that answer. Not that it is an unknown but to me it does not tie the OP question.

But He feared no questioners, and mystified people with His answers. They had never heard such radical ideas, and many still ignore them.
