Unless she has a blue dress with DNA on it we already know her story

Isn't that what I've said? Some on the right want to forgo the hearing altogether.

still not a reason to give her a hearing. Why does she need to be under oath?

Didn't I say that too? Hearing is set for this Thursday last I've heard. If she doesn't show up, go ahead with the vote. You need to blame the limp wristed Republicans if they don't do it.

LMAO. Am I talking to a brick wall? I'm not repeating it for you as you are just trolling. Go back to the beginning of this thread and start over. You can continue to hijack this thread if you want.

Again, was it a crime? NO. Clinton was impeached for lying about it, not for the physical act.

How many times do I need to repeat myself. She have a hard deadline. If she doesn't show, move on with the vote. Any delay after this, you can lay the blame on the chicken **** Republicans in Congress.

and still no reason to give her a hearing....

But yeah, okay, I do give lefties a fair amount of latitude just as I give my children, but you're running out of places to hide. You still have no reason, except that somehow I'm supposed to re-read a thread I've already read. You can't point ( I know this because I've already read the thread) to any post anywhere in this thread that explains why she should be given a hearing.

Just another lefty being lefty, is all... hey, kids will be kids.

I know this is going to sail with the eagles over your head, but at one point or another, you're going to actually have to grow up and deal with reality. You really truly can't point to any reason to give this woman a hearing. So you're left with nonsense like telling me to go back to find something that doesn't exist.

Adults do not act like this.

I grew up in a conservative Christian household. I found it so offensive, that once I reached adulthood, I became very active in the non-believer movement. When I began, just a little under 5% of the population admitted to non-belief. Today it is a little above 22%. None of the above is now the fastest growing religious catagory in the US.

It is rather common to hear preachers give the line about how they didn't know God, and that in finding him, that their lives were made so much better. In every case that we've studied, the preacher had been in the religious community all along.

Lately, especially since Obama first became president, conservatives have been claiming that they quit the Democratic Party and joined the Republicans. Except voter registrations show no such shift. I can't help but think that it is the same scam Christians use.

and still no reason to give this bimbo a hearing...

Doesn't that inability to provide something you say exists somehow provide a bit of a jolt to your reasoning?

Well, I'm agnostic if that helps you believe there is a democrat that could be disgruntled with the party.

First, I must ask, why has the whole conservative community condemned the accuser, without any proof that what she is saying isn't true?

As to Kavanaugh, I have no real opinion. Seems to me conservative judges are kind of cookie cutter like, one is pretty much the same as any other. Studying the Supreme Court, one finds an interesting pattern. Liberal Judges tend to stay that way most of their careers. Same for conservatives, except every so often a conservative judge becomes more and more liberal. Souter and O'Conner come to mind. Kennedy and Roberts have also sided with the liberals from time to time.

As to the first accuser, even if what she claims is absolutely true, I think that it can be chalked up to as stupid drunken teenage behavior. Yet Kavanaugh responded that he was not at that party, even though no specific party had been specified. At that point I started to think that if he had just admitted to it, claimed he was young and dumb, and that he had learned from it... It might of just blown over.

Have you read the New Yorker piece? The second woman showed a pattern of behavior. The folks at the New Yorker tracked down dozens of people who would have known, or been in, the social circle that Kavanaugh was in. Lots of suggestions that drunken offensive behavior was common. Even people seeing Kavanaugh falling down drunk.

As far as I can tell, Kavanaugh was athletic, probably started. Yet, still got good enough grades to get into college. It kind of describes me and my friends, at the time. I remember what it was like, wearing a letter jacket and being in the honor society. It made you top teir in the social pecking order at school. Teachers and students alike gave you respect, that perhaps wasn't entirely deserved. Sometimes making you think you could get away with anything.

I even played the positions of wide receiver and defensive secondary in Football, same as Kavanaugh. Though I gave up basketball for swimming.

At school everyone maintained but on the weekends and throughout the Summer, there was a lot of partying going on. It was just part of the culture. This one kid had one of those oversized trampolines in his backyard. He was a diver and used it to improve his skills. Several times over, a bunch of us, maybe a dozen or so, half boys, half girls would get together. Someone would get a bottle or two of something and we'd mix it with our Coca Cola. Maybe a little weed. We'd all end up on the trampoline in a mash of teenage lust and groping.

Anyhow, Kavanaugh's denials are starting to not completely stack up. It seems to me, that if he was not partying and all that, in that cilture, it would have stood out. If he truely was not partying, yet those around him were, everyone would be pointing that out.

Yea, we used to get together, drink some beers, find some girls to go party with.... But that Brett, he was real square. A regular wet blanket. All he wanted to do was go home and study.

I've heard that all my life. The theory that liberals grow up to be conservatives. I don't know that to be true. If one looks across the history of the US, one sees the country slowly becoming more and more liberal. You know how it goes, two steps forward, one step back.

Denying it is not making you look credible.

Hell, liberal professors have conducted bogus research to claim liberals are smarter.
