Yippie! The Republican experiment to push work requirements for Medicaid was stopped by a judge. Phew! This should make those people following the Medicaid issue, like I, very happy.

Now all we need to do is get the Medicaid expansion pushed onto those states that didn't expand their Medicaid after the release of Obamacare. Then things will be perfect.

I'm under the impression that Kentucky really wanted to push people off the Medicaid rolls because they are bankrupt from their red state model tax cuts experiment, and want to cut costs. Time to raise them taxes? :)

I have a better solution why not ,for those not on for being a poor elderly person or disabled and deemed unfit to work, require a co-payment and deductible based on annual income instead with some exclusions for example if a person is caring for a relative as a caregiver full time. This money to go to reduce the cost on the State for Medicaid. If they won't pay $2 to get medication and say $10 a month for a single person who is fit and working to get health coverage that is better than what some people get working with decent work provided insurance.

Well, here in New York, they have an essential plan that is a step up from Medicaid but not quite full regular metal insurances. It's monthly payment is $20 or $0 depending on income.

As for drug cost, in Medicaid, in New York, it's already $1 for generic brands, $0 for mental health drugs. I think it's $4 for brand names, but I don't know because I don't take brand name drugs.

Unemployment compensation for being unemployed in our at-will employment States should enable Persons to purchase basic health insurance coverage. Solving simple poverty means our markets can work as efficiently as capitally possible.

Market friendliness could be restored with equal protection of the law, for unemployment compensation. No need for "market distorting" social welfare when capital welfare works in a more fine and wonderful and capital manner.
