    not "have".

    The subject of the verb is singular.

    Yes, they are all doomed.

    Funny thing though -- lions in the mountains of the USA prosper.

    So do black bears.

    So do coyotes and foxes.

    So do whitetail deer.

    These animals have all outwitted humans and learned to live on their fringes.

    Of the 4 of them, the bears and the lions sometimes eat humans as well.
