    TRUE DEMOCRACY

The study is dated (2017) but it makes sense, at least to me: Only a quarter of the country identifies as Republican. There are two reasons the party keeps winning anyway.

    Quote:
So, what is the other half doing when they are not voting? Listening to who?

Also this quote is worth noting from the above link:

Since Ronald Raygun, we-the-sheeple have preferred the preponderance of the Replicants up to a point in time. That point in time was when Obama clearly won the presidency away from the Replicants. The Donald lost the popular-vote both times, and it is only a voting quirk of the Electoral College that caused him to win the first time and then lose the second time.

And I suggest that such happens because of the Electoral College's haphazard manner of choosing a PotUS. Only the result of the pure popular-vote should be selecting the president ....

That is how it works in the states. But we are a union of states and all of them have to have a say in government. This is not France.

Must be boring over in France if you have to worry about how we run our politics over here. Then again you wouldn't be trying to interfere in our election process by your constant fomenting remarks how we elect our President would you? . Why should it matter to you? We had your European type of rule and threw off the shackles of the monarch . Is France looking for reparations?
