Because around about the time of the Civil Rights enactments, liberals began the long term process of taking over almost all of any form of public schooling from the lowest to the highest grades and courses. It was a very gradual 'program' until after the Vietnam War; after whice, however, it became a flood of pretty much leftwing indoctrinated teachers, staff, and administrators taking over the public educational process.

Of course as those indoctrinated children went through the higher education courses they continued believing -- for the most part -- in root core liberal tenets. The end result is that almost all media outlets are staffed by indoctrinated leftwingers who in turn slant very nearly everything in the news to favor (sometimes subtly and sometimes blatantly) the liberal message and perspective.

Personally I blame the conservatives for this, however as the leadership among them just couldn't be bothered to put up any sort of meaningful fight to hold onto the control of public education. Being myself a graduate of a hybrid conservative/liberal education (as I'm old enough to have lived through the long transition phase) I have absolutely no problem with the Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, and whatever lifestyles. But I do have a problem with all this government led straight (ha!) arming being done in order to RAM LGBT 'interests' into place where businesses and churches are concerned.

That's the problem with fanaticism and fanatics and their agenda (and this applies to both the Left and the Right) in that they never, EVER seem to grasp the concept of going 'this far but no farther'. It's almost always a matter of 'balls to the wall' (my but the fun phraseology is flying this morning) Wide Full Open legislating and forcing across the board.

Anyway you asked and so I answered. Of course whether or not my perspective on this stuff is correct, has yet to be determined . . .

I am sure there are gay people who sit in churches every Sunday. I think they are talking about the activists who are there mostly to make changes in the churches. Think about that.....why does someone feel the need to announce to the world who they like to have sex with or what they do in their bedroom? Hosting a "homosexual event" is doing just that.

Well no it's not in this matter

Well it is entirely based in "it's". According to the arguement being poses IF the church rents to anyone at all they must rent to every comer.

So try again without the dodge.

Yes; exactly. And it's the same kind of activism that brought us federal government sanctioning of abortion via Roe v Wade. Those activists went shopping for a woman to use and they selected the judge they knew would be sympathetic to their cause. The woman today will tell you that she was used. It's all about forcing change through our legal system to get what they want.

Your scenarios are as it should be. That's the equal treatment under the law that I refer to

    - - - Updated - - -

Sorry, but in this case it was "when" the church rented it. No ifs about it

That's not accurate... unless of course you want to remove the separation of church and state clause. Which I'd be happy with.

This country has no vested interest in promoting bigotry and discrimination, regardless of the group

If someone wants to engage in homosexuality they are free to do so, society has not only no vested interest in supporting or encouraging it nor an obligation to encourage or sanction it.

There is a reason we have marriage at all, it is vital to our society and species to promote and encourage heterosexuality. Why is it vital to our society and species to promote and encourage homosexuality?

I think it is quite clear and noted.

There is nothing unconstitutional about a church denying anybody the ability to use their facilities.

No it's not. Churches are excluded from having to do so exactly because of the separation of church and state.

No the problem is that your claims are subjective and are highly dependent upon the honest answers of a child molester.

you actually don't understand the situation in New Jersey and the one in the OP no one forced them they chose not to open up to outside organization because frankly that church leadership is stupid.

WTF are you talking about. Yes the church in NJ was FORCED by the courts to rent to the homosexuals if they're going to rent to others. They chose to close their doors but the court DID force them.

Why don't you tell me the qualifications for a diagnosis of pedophilia.

That's right. WHEN churches open their doors to rent to the general public, they open their doors to all.

The species will do fine with or without homosexuality. No matter how many times that has been explained to you, you can't get off the horse(*)(*)(*)(*) procreation thing.

This has nothing to do with anyone sanctioning homosexuality. It has everything to do with equal treatment under the law. What is so difficult for you to understand about that?

If there is any "reason" we have marriage, it would to be to promote stable, long-term relationships. Something, by-the-way, that heterosexual marriage is failing miserably at. Marriage has other, legal, reasons for being sanctioned by the government. Something that has not been available to gays in the past. Get it? LEGAL reasons.

Watch and learn, pal. We're seeing the bigotry of businesses getting punished for their discrimination. Churches will remain safe, as they should, in the practice of their own faith in their facilities. But you can pretty much bet when they open those doors to other groups outside their church, yet refuse service to specific ones, ones that have codified protection, they're gonna lose. And you can take that to the bank.

    MOD EDIT>>>RESPONSE TO DELETED POST<<<

I've always said liberals are great at playing the long game.

They've been infesting every aspect of society for decades now and we are paying the price for letting it happen.

I'm a liberal and I'd fire you or anybody for that reason. But, for some absurd reason, you have to insert homosexuality into the equation.

Here's another interesting point that makes your poor attempt at an argument invalid.

Incest is illegal. For incestuous marriage to be realized first incest would have to be legalized.

Here again though...what does incesr have to do with gay marriage? Not a single thing.

So please, show us how flimsy and petty your arguments are by continuing to try to link incest, bestiality, and pedophilia to gays and gay marriage. It shows what your actual intent is, to demonize, demoralize, and belittle gays.

    - - - Updated - - -

Except that homosexuals are indeed, starting families and raising children together.

    So keep trying.

Try again. Marriage is encourged because it forms a legal bond and protection for a couple and their potential offspring as well as promoting monogamy.

All of which gays and straights both benefit from. Which is why the bans on gay marriage are unconstitutional and are being ruled unconstitutional.

Liberals have decreed that firing somebody who is a homosexual for a reason that is acceptable for firing a heterosexual is no longer acceptable, such as showing up to work in inappropriate attire.
