God is the only one that is perfect, and everything else has flaws in it. Therefore, just because you point out the flaws in humans, doesn't mean that God is any less pefect than what he is. Duh? lol.

 

As the story is simply just that A STORY, it doesn't really matter. There's no evidence that the story is true. Just faith. If you know the history, background and Laws of the time the story is simply made up.

 

If God is omnipotent, the God KNEW that He was creating imperfect beings and He KNEW exactly what each and every person he
created would do during their time on Earth (otherwise, he is simply NOT an omnipotent God) and in so knowing that God made the decision
to create a person who would abort a fetus and decided that was OK in his grand plan.

But the Bible says that we are all sinners and thus imperfect by nature.

What this quote means is that we must strive for perfection.

 

So, eternal life means the time after you're dead.

 

I think it relates to the soul

Because you are not your body. But your soul. This is somewhat supported by science. A full head transplant is theoretically possible. So is engram encoding.

Eternal life is where your soul lives forever.

Humans may achieve this in a not so distant future by uploading one's engram to a server or something.

Who knows what that means religiously. If we usurped God's heaven, or whether we killed our souls and merely created a digital copy. You could live in a digitized space of your choosing. Your own "heaven" so to speak. Or be continously reborn and walk the earth forever.

Either way. If god exists, he would reset human civilization. As he did with the great flood, before that coul happen. Or whipe it out entirely.

Because this would be a much greater offense against him than anything that humans have ever committed against him

 

Take a few minutes and think about your own life events. How many accidents and illnesses have you had where you could have died? Suppose you did actually die but you keep living as if you didn't die but just blinked and kept going. The biblical fairytale says that we will live to be 120 years old. So, we might "die" ten or twenty times before that but our movie keeps going as if nothing happened. But other characters experience our death each time we have an event but only one time. In other words, you get sick as a child and die. Your parents experience it as a real event but you keep on going in a new reality. You continue to grow and age and function as if nothing fatal has happened although it has. It is the ultimate mind-game and certainly within the power of an omni-potent deity. And then, when you reach 120 years-old, your existence ends.
