Because the republicans, particularly in America will not fund the one strategy that is proven to reduce abortions

In my scenario, it is factual. In the above it is not factual.
Women daily get abortions as requested no questions asked.

Am I supposed to buy her contraceptives, rent her a room, supply her with a male and then pay for the abortion?
Gee no thanks. That is not in the constitution.

I can't imagine being such a heartless inhumane fiend that would want an innocent child to linger in agony and suffering while waiting for a sure death.... or a life of agony and suffering.....
especially when all that could be avoided by being humanely and painlessly killed before birth...

What kind of mind thinks that way ??? Deviates? Misogynists? The worst of humanity??

THEY wouldn't trade places with that child , would they !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You're just dodging.

Texas is rallying vigilantes to enforce laws against almost all abortions, REGARDLESS of ANY issue of health.

So, you can not just claim that there are some abortions you don't like.

This article labels substance abuse as an excuse. Are you f-ing kidding me. Women who abuse substances while pregnant should be charged with abuse of a minor. That shouldn’t give them an exemption to murder.

Do I not sound serious? You think it’s okay to cause deformities because you can’t stop abusing drugs or alcohol

    You're switching subjects.

Addiction is a real problem, certainly including pregnancy. But, I don't see any justification for thinking that more laws oriented to punishing addicts is an actual solution to any aspect of this.

are you reading the same article?
So women are to be locked up if the have any alcohol? Unfortunately the most risky time for teratogenic effect is in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Before the woman knows she is pregnant. Now let us say she is a drug addict, partner hooked her on drugs, and she realises she is pregnant - she doesn’t want to bring a child into that environment and knows because it happened to her, that few addicted babies are ever adopted out. The baby would go through withdrawals and the partner, already abusive would increase his abuse

alcohol is slightly different in that the damage continues throughout the pregnancy but other drugs

    Amen.

I'd suggest that isn't a complete list, either.

Obviously, pregnant women in Flint ended up finding out that they had been lead poisoned.

Those women were destined to have babies that were too small, had damaged brains, kidneys and nervous systems. They were destined to have serious learning disabilities. This damage is stupendously costly, and can't be fixed. So, besides the direct harm these women would know that they could not take adequate care of these babies, thus leading to a life of constant deficit in care as well as the unconscionable direct impact.

In fact, for a significant period these women didn't even have a clean source of water, making every day add more damage.

For many, that is not an acceptable life to give, especially in more serious cases.
