So you think it was wrong to fire people and force their children not to go to school and threaten them with jail time and refusal of medical services because they didn’t have the Covid vaccine?

I’m not hiding anything. I feel the same way about a woman who murders her infant. You should too.

And I feel the same way about some sorry piece of **** guy who gets a woman pregnant and then wants an abortion.

So your little “you hate women” isn’t going to fly here buddy

So then they don’t have bodily autonomy if you’re going to fire them for not taking an experimental vaccine. I’m not sure what part of that you don’t understand.

Oh, it’s already well off the ground…

Here we go with Bluesguy’s lesson…

If you ask me to ‘lend’ you my body because my bloodstream will keep you alive, then I have a choice…MY choice. I could agree and sustain you, or I could exercise my rights and refuse you, as difficult a decision that might be. I don’t think any reasonable person would deny me that choice…right?

But there’s more…if I agree and you are kept alive through my body, I still have the right to terminate that agreement at any time…because it’s MY body…!

Why do you deny a woman the same rights…?

No see that’s not analogous because in that scenario it’s not YOUR FAULT that I need medical care.

A more analogous scenario would be that you were drunk driving and made a piss poor decision and slammed into a pregnant woman’s car and killed the mother and almost the baby. The only way to save the baby would be to use your body (if you are a woman) to sustain the baby (as in your example) and finish its term. As part of your agreement to stay out of prison due to your dumbass decision you agree to allow the baby to use your body.

Yes now at this point you can still exercise your choice to finish the job of murdering that baby and not allow it to be sustained using your body, but if you do, you will the face the consequences of your actions.

And I don’t think anyone would think it’s unreasonable to send you to prison.

“Birth control…….” No they are there for termination of a pregnancy often due to failure of birth control

The opinions you have about women are coming across loud nd clear and, as a woman, I really don’t think they are complimentary

That’s okay you’ve made your opinion on trump supporters clear and I don’t think they’re complimentary either. So I guess neither of us cares whether the other one feels complimented or not.

Well, I see your ability to draw analogies is no better than your skill in framing questions...

Your scenario is ridiculous. There is NO CRIME committed when a woman falls pregnant, so your drunk driver analogy fails miserably...!

It's entirely about choice. I have the choice to deny you my body for your sustenance...and likewise, the pregnant woman has the right to deny a developing foetus the use of her body. Period.

You make your motives clear...you are simply aggrieved that women should have these choices. Your representation of pregnant women as drunken "whores" shows your colours clearly...

Going out on a limb here, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're single...?

Using that analogy a comparable scenario would be if, while driving drunk your caused another person to say, be permanently damaged then you yourself would have to pay reparation by donating a body part.

WTF? Had your posts, which had claimed that women have access to the "healthcare they need," not meant to include abortion services (which would be central to the the subject of this thread)? You seem to be focusing on contraception, but I had focused my reply on what seemed to be your contention that treatment for all of women's healthcare issues, are accessible throughout the country. My reply was meant to inform you that this is not the case, when it comes to abortion, in many states (again-- banned completely in 14 states; only 6 weeks of availability in two states, with Florida's change, a potential third; five other bans, currently held up in the courts). You respond, talking about Executive Orders, which of course cannot possibly change this, since the SCOTUS recently gave the individual states, authority regarding abortion, in the Dobbs decision.

Horse pucky. I know of no Republicans (there might be two or three outliers) who want to stop birth control or
healthcare for women. More to the point women (and men) have had access to birth control and healthcare for decades.. The only thing Biden did was make some birth control and certain healthcare available for free that they didn't get for free under Obamacare.

    RodB said: ↑
    BS.
Women have had access to the healthcare they need, including contraception and family planning services for decades. Biden simply said they could have those services for free that they didn't get for free under Obamacare.
    <End Quotes>

BTW, Justice Clarence Thomas has expressed an interest in restricting access to contraception.

Lol the crime occurs when they murder the baby.

But since the fetus isn’t a life, then let’s say the boyfriend didn’t want the baby and the woman did. And he spikes her drinks with abortion pills. No harm comes to her but she loses the baby.

Should he be charged with murder?

And I have a wife. And children. But I found a woman who wasn’t a piece of **** who lays on her back and spreads her legs for any guy when she gets horny and then has to get an abortion to fix the problem.

And btw she’s drop dead gorgeous. I outkicked my coverage if I do say so myself. And she’s a vp at a pharmaceutical company doing research. So our babies are smart and pretty. And not dead lol

Now it’s your turn. Any guy been willing to marry you?

Oh and btw we didn’t take the Covid vaccine because she said anyone who takes it is a moron because there’s no possible way they went from not knowing the genome sequence of the virus to having a fully functioning vaccine ready for humans in 6 weeks.

Just as an aside. Bet you took it tho didn’t ya lol

First of all, I had thought I was answering the question of someone who needed help, getting basic information. That is why I just gave you rough numbers, as best as I recalled them. While I am unsure if my 12 week figure was exact, it is over 90%, at any rate (so I thought helpful, to someone who'd been representing themself, as having no clue). But I am rather confident, that beyond the 21 week point, it was no more than 1% of American women.

Now to the heart of your error: *being beyond 21 weeks, is not the dividing line for "late term abortions." The Roe standard had been fetal viability, which is roughly 24 weeks, give or take a week. I believe "late term," refers to the third trimester, which commences after the 26th week. The vast majority of the 1% who haven't had abortions by week 21, have them in the next few weeks after that. The very few which occur in the last trimester, as I'd already explained (but let's hope 2nd time's a charm), are cases in which there develops either a serious threat to the mother's health, or a previously overlooked birth defect, is discovered. So your mathematical computations:
    1) do not tell you the number of "late term abortions;" and
    2) The few actual late term abortions, are almost all well warranted.

What makes you think so many women are carrying around a fetus that they don't want, for longer than they need to? Do you not think that pregnancy might be a bit uncomfortable? It comes with mood swings and hot flushes, from hormonal shifts; morning sickness; reduced mobility; backache, swollen feet, not to mention, the need to carry around extra weight, everywhere you go. I think one would need be deluded, to think that something like 8000 American women a year, wait until their third trimester, to abort, without any special circumstances (see above). Can you offer any source, to corroborate your sleight of math?
