AbraCadabra! Where did all the jobs go?

The thread is; just someone mentioned all liberals were communists and I am curious if he/she really know's what a communist is; your answer is a good start but I'd like to hear from the poster what are the principals of communism and why he/she labels all liberals communists. So far no response out of the poster.

 

That's not been the case in Europe. Quite the opposite.

I've two kids who have been educated here, almost free, gratis and for nothing. Like their friends who also graduated with Tertiary Level degrees, they have found good jobs at a good pay.

I don't see at all how a free tertiary-level degree is "dumbing down" children who need the qualifications to obtain a job with a reasonable salary. Not at all.

I'm just saying people should be careful what they wish for when it comes to having government run complex programs...

 

It's my opinion that if government provided and managed free public colleges that over time these institutions would be dumbed-down and abbreviated in order to satisfy America's entitled, impatient, and low performing students. Just look at the results of public education today to see how it is censored in many cases, in which music and arts are eliminated, in which 30-40% dropout rates exist, and many of those who are granted graduation are performing at a 5th grade level...this is what government does...

 

if its almost free why will they have to pay 60% of their income to Paris for the rest of their lives in order to live at the per capita income of people in Arkansas, about put poorest state? And why will will they have to depend on America for defense and for the inventions that keep their economy looking modern. And why did half the French side with the Nazis if they are so wonderful? And why don't they know not to let Muslims in after they have been to the Syria to get ISIS training. We really want to be like France!!
