    Abraham Lincoln has joined George Washington on the list of those targeted by Chicagoans in a national debate over Civil War-era monuments.
    Alderman Raymond Lopez took to Facebook Wednesday night to decry a defaced statue of the nation’s 16th president in the Englewood neighborhood. The giant bust appears to have been damaged after someone in the 15th Ward sprayed and ignited a flammable liquid.
    “What an absolute disgraceful act of vandalism. This bust of Abraham Lincoln, erected by Phil Bloomquist on August 31, 1926, was damaged & burned,” Mr. Lopez wrote, a local NBC affiliate reported. “If anyone has any information regarding this act, please contact the police or my office immediately.”
    “F- Abe Lincoln,” responded Quintin Mitchell, whose comment was “liked” or deemed “funny” by 160 others.
    The official’s finding came just one day after President Trump stated opposition to tearing down memorials related to America’s past with slavery.
    “I wonder is it George Washington next week and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?” Mr. Trump asked reporters on Tuesday while addressing violence in Virginia.

    Just shows how stupid people are and how the school system has failed them. The Progressive Socialist/Marxists clearly do not know what Abraham Lincoln is known for. I also wonder what they would think if they knew that Abraham Lincoln is of Melungeon heritage and was the real first president of color.
    These anarchist Antifa are destroying America's monuments and the media are as culpable as the tools who do this stuff.
    I guess this is what happens when you open up 150 year old wounds. Thanks PS/M Democrats.

    The issue, here, though, is I don't see why antiFA would do this to Lincoln. If anything, it would be the KKK type who would be more ideologically opposed to what Lincoln did.

    Two democrats here want to have a monument removed from a park that is dedicated to the thousands of confederate soldiers that died in a concentration camp here.

    Looks like the democrats have found a new 'crisis' to use to call others racists.

    And other memorials, stained glass, religious icons, books, films, statues, frescoes, tapestries, pottery, mosaics, tombs - it's all up for grabs now.

    Anything which offends anyone for any reason may now be crushed, burned, hidden or otherwise destroyed.

    It's open season on our history, art and culture.

    Yep, the Demos have jumped all in. As Pelosi called on Ryan and Republicans to remove all confederate statues from Congress. I called it a few days ago. Didn't take them long.
