I swear, the public school system has failed an entire generation. They're supposedly mad at the religious right for their old-fashioned views on sexual liberation, and their big counter-move is ... to promote chastity? Are these people braindead? Is this just another 4chan prank?

They're not actually stupid enough to believe happily-married women are going to blow up their marriages en masse to support their "right" to kill unborn babies, are they?

I think you might misunderstand how important the right to bodily autonomy is to women, especially younger women that have always had this right and overwhelmingly support that right.

Actually I bet you do, should you be forced to wear a mask for a few minutes because the government or a business wants you to in an effort to protect the lives of others? Now if it was a mask for 9 months? Or a vaccine?

    They are.

Frankly, single women closing their legs is a GOOD thing. It's like they're actually accepting responsibility for pregnancy here since the guys aren't. In fact, maybe it'll even teach the guys a lesson here. Not about abortion, but about them actually accepting responsibility themselves.

I mean, if we end up with a society without a lot of babies born outta wedlock I consider that a win no matter HOW it comes about. Heck, women having babies outta wedlock is a HUGE reason so many live under the poverty line.

Your post made me think of Muslim women and what they endure. Yet if I say something….

You know, in conversations on the same subject but with different context, your post would be considered the R word.

Anyone even implies it, I'll ask me to point out where I even mentioned race at all as it applies to all races. And when they do, I can report 'em. As a poster we both know says: "Rules is rules." I learned well.

    This quote was particularly damning:

Yes, Caroline, you should definitely not be having sex with men that you do not trust to wear a condom when you want them to. I'm saddened that it took a Supreme Court ruling for you to realize that I-would-have-thought-obvious point.

    And this:

I don't know what sort of crowd you're hanging out with, but if you're "expected to" go out and have sex, I'm again disappointed that this is apparently not obvious to you, but you should not be hanging out with those people.

Yes to ALL of this. Have we FINALLY, as a culture, realized that sex and responsibility go hand in - er - well - uh, whatever! And that if the guys ain't gonna accept responsibility - as we know a lot DON'T - then the women better start by taking away the Keys to the Gate and forcing the issue upon them? Do it, ladies - DO IT. Or rather, DON'T do it!

Leftist in total meltdown mode. Keep letting in mexicans and adding to the catholic population here and watch where your abortions as birth control go.

Muslim women are treated terribly. You are free to say whatever you wish.

I just read that parts of America now have more restrictive abortion laws than these Muslim countries do — I wonder if that is true?

First off, I want to congratulate you for calling them "women" and not mucking things up with that "pregnant people" tranny stupidity. At least we've got that baseline agreement.

As for how important it is to them, I guess it wasn't obvious enough from my original post, but this #SexStrike thing isn't actually going to work, precisely because it's not actually all that important to most women. There's going to be a tiny, shrill minority that try this for a few days, most of whom appear to be morbidly obese and smell like death warmed over that no right-thinking man wants to have sex with anyways, and then they'll get a little horny and forget about it and life will go on.

And on the off-chance it does take off and people really start doing it, again, that's just another win for the people that think being promiscuous is stupid. It's just failures wrapped in failures from these hysterical leftists.

I don’t know who you’re responding to, but not having sex prevents STDs, monkeypox (that name has been considered racist) AIDS. And then there are the tens of thousands of kids with no fathers who are either dead, in prison, or just bolted.

If you look at the women who are protesting, I’m guessing having sex was a rare event.

So is this about punishing sex or “saving babies” because all of these threads always end up on the topic of sex and responsibility and ignore that condoms fail at a rate of 1 in 50.

It’s not just a Muslim women, it’s Chinese women, Japanese women, African women, and Mexican women. The fine women in this country don’t realize how good they have it.

It's about personal responsibility. If guys ain't taking it and women are stuck with it, I say hey - keep it in your pants.

I mean, my dad - when we had "The Talk" - told me flat-out don't do the crime if you can't do (afford) the time - for at least 18 years. Seems that men AND women have forgotten that.

Now that being said, I agree with @HurricaneDitka - this likely won't amount to anything as there's too many skanks and himbos out there. But maybe it'll get SOMEONE thinking that With Great Sex Comes Great Responsibility!

People use terms like birthing persons because female to male trans people exist, they can and do get pregnant.
It isn’t stupidly to acknowledge others exist.

I don’t disagree that there will be sex strike, although I do know several women of various political affiliations that are having their tubes tied or demanding their parter get snipped.

As for your opinion to individuals being promiscuous being stupid, humans are biologically wired to mate and sex is pleasurable (the main reason why there will be no sex strike). It is strange to wish to punish people deemed as “stupid” or “irresponsible” with an unwanted child. I don’t see how that betters society.

Personally I wish pregnancy was limited to financially secure, loving and educated households only instead of this Idiocracy remake where the most uneducated have the most children and are able to overrule the wishes of the majority because of a system designed by slave owners that believed women had zero rights.

The best comment I've seen on this so far:

"So I guess now they'll teach abstinence?"

Ah yes, saying women have it better than:
A nation where they are religious servants
A communist nation that aborts denial children
    Two third world nations

So much for saying America is number one when you have to look to the bottom to make a good comparison.

Women exist and they can get pregnant. Men exist and they cannot get pregnant. Female to male trans people are just delusional women, and treating their delusions as if they have some basis in reality is just doing them (and the rest of society) a disservice.

Forcing someone to remain pregnant when their are alternatives against their will isn’t personal responsibility — it is punishment

That is like saying you got in an at fault wreck and injured yourself so you must say injured even though we have medical treatment available.

The medical and psychological community disagree. I know the installed SCOTUS has said we can ignore these groups though.

It's not about "punishment", it's about preserving the life of the unborn child. That child's right to life trumps the mother's right to convenience.

I don’t think it is as easy as you believe it is to “leave the country” especially without some serious disposable income.

Remarks like this — that people should just leave if they don’t like it and them staying means they are in agreement — is an affront to basic intelligence and dignity.

I have dual citizenship with a European nation and it would cost thousands for me to move to that nation, tens of thousands if I am moving my whole family. Someone with only American citizenship takes substantially more time and money.
