However, there are still only 5% having unintended pregnancies that SAY they are consistently using contraceptives.

Some of that 5% might not be honest about it, some of them are using things with high failure rates like condoms, withdrawal, timing, etc.

When both people are using effective birth control, the risk of pregnancy is as close to zero as you can get.

Combine that with day after pills and the risk of pregnancy is right up there with immaculate conception.

And something like two thirds of women get through life without any unwanted accidents. It's not difficult, you just have to mean it.
