ACLU backs down in face of Twitter’s wrath for pic of white baby holding US flag

    Actually, the ACLU was promoting their merchandise - "Free Speech" onesies. But don't try to tell it to the racist left, who bombarded their twitter feed with accusations of promoting Nazis and posting pictures of babies dressed like Hitler.

    It has been widely noticed that people on the left have no sense of humor. Now I understand why. They think the irony of a really funny comment is actually something true, calling for their reaction. That's how detached from reality they are!

    The left keeps coming up with preposterous stances: a blond baby image = white supremacy; Robert Lee, a Chinese sportscaster = white supremacy; the USC mascot horse = white supremacy. These examples of stupidity would have made us laugh till we cried if they were in "Animal House" or an old Laurel and Hardy episode.

    Sadly, the left cannot perceive the joke they have become.

    What hurts is that ACLU just took a crap on their own civil liberties.
    Fighting efforts to suppress free speech is at the top of the organizations stated goals. What good are they if they can't even defend themselves?

    At least the ACLU learned a lesson from Charlottesville, which had always defended white nationalists' right to free speech no matter what the circumstances were.

    A picture of a young white child holding an American flag, and wearing a shirt that supports free speech causes this much hate and discontent from the left. How can any sane person still claim to be a leftist?
