this is a moronic observation. Of course guns are not smuggled into the country in any significant numbers because they're not contraband. Drugs however are because they are contraband. The money is in taking things from a place where you can get them to a place where there is demand for them but they are contraband. So if we made guns contraband they would start flowing back the other way. So what was the point you were trying to make with this? You have been blaming other countries for your gun problems yet it is your country that is providing the guns! Your solution is to continue adding to the number of guns out there, ours is to reduce the number of guns out there. We do not experience gun massacres and due to our gun laws we are not increasing the gun crime in neighbouring countries because guns are not being smuggled out of our countries into countries that are trying to reduce their number of guns.
