It’s extremely odd that the same people who love Che, love Castro, love Chavez, love Mao, love Marx, etc, suddenly have a problem with the guy who gave Clinton $145,000,000.

We should start arresting foreigners coming to the USA to promote abortion. It seems activism, while being a foreigner, in the USA is illegal? It seems like she could have won easily on constitutional grounds unless there is some missing details I am not aware of.

Great! This was some Great working hard to gloss over this agent's failure to simply register a foreign agent, but propaganda is much more effective in secret.

I think the work to try to call to let women have reproductive choice is quite novel! And such efforts to co allow women to be allowed to be free of their choices should of course be denied at every, and let controversy help us forget Russian propaganda!

These efforts are to be well rewardex, I am sure Putin's check is in the mail for all such Allies of Russia!

Putin's minions are everywhere these days. Even in the NRA, that mythical bastion
    of "patriotism."

    (D) neo McCartyists never consider the "unintended consequences" of their inquisionist mantras. Ilhan Omar made her "unfortunate" remarks at a fundraiser for the benefit of terrorist organizations. You can't pick and choose. Either all lobyists register, or none do.

Butina helped organize a Russian gun rights advocacy group because Russian have been under the thumbs of brutal dictators since Stalin took all their guns. Heaven forbid the Russian people ever revolt against their democratic socialist dictatorship. Now pretend US 2nd A advocates have an irrational fear of tyranny post confiscation OK? That'll make it easier to sleep after you vote for a progressive who wants to repeal the 2nd A. There's nothing sordid behind the NRA relationship.

Well jake, where are the other indictments? I believe she joined the NRA to learn how to protect herself back in Russia.

So, you’re trying to dance past the topic of this thread by trying to substitute on of your typical right wing memes, which has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I suppose you’re trying your level best to ignore the fact that a Russian penetration agent managed to reach, influence and compromise the senior management of the most powerful right wing pressure group in the US, and to funnel Kremlin money into the campaigns of countless GOP politicians.

But that’s Ok with you apparantly. Or of it’s not, you apparantly work hard at looking the other way.

What totally idiotic and unreal prattle!

Who in their right minds actually believes that there is any such thing as a gun rights group in a police state run by a secret policemen?????

    Are you even serious?????

This woman is an agent of Russian intelligence. She had a mission, to penetrate the highest reaches of the GOP money establishment, a neat parallel to the Russian cyber warfare campaign and their ultimate decision to back Trump (who they already owned).

The topic is Ms Butina and her failure to register. Liberals never fail to insist every Russian national works directly with Vlad, and that the US & Russia are polar opposites on every issue. Butina didn't bribe the NRA affilated GOP members who defended the 2nd A long before her arrival. Her donations were her passport to NRA events. She didn't lobby nefarious causes when he she mingled with GOP reps

We did what is what is what we should be doing in these cases,

We arrested an intelligence agent of a rival power, who was engaged in a scheme to compromise the nation’s most prominent conservative lobbying group, and to use that organization to launder Russian money to countless GOP candidates.

    More abject BS.

Your willingness to rationalize to defend the Russian effort is downright astounding.

Moreover, your claims are blatantly false (which is standard TRumpster, anymore).

No, Butina didn’t bribe anyone (except maybe, with sex).

No, she put Putin’s cash into the NRA and let them spread it around, making unwitting useful idiots out of every one of them, and thoroughly compromising both the NRA and the Republican Party.

It is only a matter of time before one of the Committees or courts gets round to seeking the financial records of the NRA to trace the path of the funds that Butina’s fake “Russian gun rights group” went.

Google's gone off-line in observance of Easter? https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2016/04/27/russians-their-guns-and-the-state-a52720 Guns aren't completely banned in Russia OK? In 2014 Butina collected 100K signatures to loosen restrictions. Butina heads a legitimate gun rights advocacy group whith more than 10K members. Butina's views are the polar opposite of Vlad's ...

Nobody gave a rats ass if Trump wanted to own property in Russia... Many of us just preferred he not lie about it (and the other group didn't even think twice that it was a lie)

You believe wrongly. Let's see what the courts sentence her on and to how much, and if other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal.

So she donated money to a foundation without requests or expectations? How evil!!!

I am pretty sure Russians own shares in many American companies. I am also sure those companies are giving the money of their share holders to the Republicans. We should arrest those Russians too!!!

This is the truth: "No, she put Putin’s cash into the NRA and let them spread it around, making unwitting useful idiots out of every one of them, and thoroughly compromising both the NRA and the Republican Party."

There is no way to get around it.

She was trying to effect and meddle in the election of a US president with the allies of candidate.

The whataboutism defense would get laughed out of court, and possibly examined as an accessory after the fact statement.

The Democrats have gone 100% globalist. Being an American and voting Democrat in these modern times is like being Jewish and voting for nazis knowing they hate you and want to destroy your nation and enslave its people.
