American blacks have very little in the way of a connection to African culture and are not well liked by African immigrants. I have friends from West Africa who are polite enough to express their disapproval with gestures like a an eye roll or by shaking their heads. They came to the US for a better life and cannot understand why anyone, white or black would not appreciate the opportunity here. They know what racial oppression is and said what ever racism exists here is nothing compared to the third world. In places like Nigeria police brutality is a fact of life such that people frequently disappear and are never heard from again. Blacks here are oppressed by liberals who constantly tell them they are oppressed and ply them with entitlements to make them dependent and a voting bloc.
