The story is the women in the group provided their vaccination but two (or maybe 3) of the men with their group could not provide proof of vaccination so they wouldn’t be allowed in. They told the women they could still come in but not the men. Then the women went crazy and started assaulting the hostess who denied their men entry.

On another thread about segregation in schools, the subtext of my post was that many people believe minority kids are profiled in schools, receive more aggressive discipline for the same behavior and therefore are suspended more. People of different races have admitted that there is different treatment in K-12 that amounts to profiling. You basically responded but the black kids are getting suspended more. ... You completely missed my point, it seemed and I didn't even bother to respond.

However! On this issue, I can actually believe that what you described happened. It's quite conceivable that the women got angry that their companions for the evening were not being admitted and started fussing about it but slapping people is over the top, if that's what they did. Did the hostess put her hands on them first? Either way, no physical altercation should have happened.

Biden started with vaccines already going into arms, had two vaccines immediately, one more in a month, advanced testing and treatment protocols already in place and he has a daily death count of 1,102/day, an improvement of only 7%?

And Biden's 7 day average of daily deaths has been over his long term average of 1,102 dead per day, that is, getting worse, for 58 days.

I wasn't aware of the daily Covid-19 death rate comparison, but the uptick in August and September is pretty interesting. It's also pretty crazy that Vermont and Maine are two northern states that are seeing their biggest rise in confirmed cases since the start of the Pandemic. New Hampshire is also heading in that direction. We're talking about the states with the highest rates of vaccination.

It also seems like we're getting a lot worse data under Biden. More than half the states didn't report any data.

The fact it’s only 5 percent is astounding. It really goes to show that blacks are so stuck in the democrats party that to strip them away from it piece by piece is going to take decades.

it’s alrdy happening as Republicans are getting higher black votes than in any recent history. But yikes is it going to be a slow process. For years I attended a 95% black church where I had an entire congregation of very dear friends. Most lived conservative lives, which one would think would make them good candidates for the Republican party. But almost all were staunchly Democrat supporters, because their families and communities were and had been for a couple of generations. Those cultural characteristics change slowly.

 

Exactly, blacks have far more in common, on avg, with Republicans yet vote democrat. But like you said, this stuff takes awhile. Glad to see it’s happening but I just wish it could happen sooner.

 

No it isn't. Further, your response concedes the point:

• your response isn't an argument that this fact isn't true.
• your response is an explanation for why it's true.

And given that it is true,

• what does it mean?
• why should we consider our current policy responses to be adequate if deaths are high and rising?
• Is the Vaxx, Vaxx, Vaxx approach sufficient or is it too narrowly focused?
• Should we be working harder on treatment protocols, especially since vaxx does not prevent infection or spread?
• Why the push to vaxx the naturally immune, is the payoff worth the effort or could this effort be put to greater opportunity?
