Martinez was murdered in the line of duty. Wall must be built, the border agents need everything at their disposal, everything. Good thing Trump is president or the agents wouldn't have a chance.

After border agent is killed and partner injured in Texas, Trump renews call for wall
Authorities were searching southwest Texas for suspects or witnesses after a U.S. Border Patrol agent was killed and his partner injured Sunday while on patrol in the state’s Big Bend area, officials said.

Agent Rogelio Martinez and his partner were “responding to activity” near Interstate 10 in Van Horn, Tex., when both were seriously injured, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release.

Martinez’s partner called for help. Other agents arrived, provided medical care and took them to a hospital.

So they weren't fired upon. Ok. What happened then?

As for the wall, it won't work, it's a waste of my tax dollars and I already pay out too ******ned much.

The level of ignorance among many on the left regarding the illegal migration being pushed by Progressives is amazing.

So many people are being caught right now, they have no place to house them. Yet, this is what they want, people who failed to make it in failed cultures, where to fail takes quite a bit of effort.

Illegal aliens decimate economic opportunities for legal citizens, and cost taxpayers $10's of billions every year, a cost mostly covered by the states they invade.

He already built that wall, didn't he?

That was right after he replaced Obamacare, wasn't it?

Your tax dollars are already paying for the education of illegals, their healthcare, their court costs, their prison costs and all the other unseen costs associated with them. Then there's the individual costs of people who are their crime victims and what they pay financially, physically and emotionally.

Art Del Cueto, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council labor union, told NBC affiliate KTSM that the two agents were responding to an electronic sensor when they were attacked. Although officials have not yet released details, Del Cueto said, “we strongly believe rocks were what was used.”

I know this, so deport them. I'm sick of spending more in taxes then I spend in groceries every check. And before anyone "fact checks" taxes vs groceries, I've done the comparison myself. I look at my pay stubs. I know how much I pay out to feed my family every two weeks and it's less then I pay out to fund the military, illegals, and half assed government spending projects.

I don't need anymore money going to fix the "illegal" problem.

    DEPORT THEM ALL.

It basically boils down to we understand your argument Steve it makes sense to throw in the costs of illegals into the argument, but we hate Trump so bad we just can't come to any agreement or understanding until he is either replaced or killed.

    I'm not for open borders.

    I am for 2 things.

    Deporting ALL illegal immigrants.

And cutting the head off the immigration snake, something no one wants to address: jailing employers that hire them.

I want there to be ZERO incentive for hiring illegal immigrants, and I want business owners that do to pay the price.

Make it so no one will hire them and they won't come here. If they do, send them packing, no questions asked.

    They are very expensive

"At the federal, state, and local levels, taxpayers shell out approximately $134.9 billion to cover the costs incurred by the presence of more than 12.5 million illegal aliens, and about 4.2 million citizen children of illegal aliens. That amounts to a tax burden of approximately $8,075 per illegal alien family member and a total of $115,894,597,664. The total cost of illegal immigration to U.S. taxpayers is both staggering and crippling. In 2013, FAIR estimated the total cost to be approximately $113 billion. So, in under four years, the cost has risen nearly $3 billion. This is a disturbing and unsustainable trend. The sections below will break down and further explain these numbers at the federal, state, and local levels"

Not true. I don't want illegals here at all. I don't agree with a wall because a wall is a feel good solution to give the image of protection but does nothing in reality.

I want the illegal immigration crowd to stop ****ing around and start demanding what will really work.

Deporting EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and JAILING THEIR EMPLOYERS.

If you make it so no one hires them, then none of them will come here.

If they do, box them up and ship them out.

I already know this. So instead of wasting more of my ******ned money, how about we hold their employers accountable and deport the ****ing morons?

We don't need a wall. We need emplyers to be held accountable for hiring illegals and we need to deport the ones already here.

So why the all the wall hate? I wish the country had ocean waters all around it with a little island where the "immigrants" could go until they check out but there isn't so a wall will help funnel "immigrants" to right area to check in. Money isn't the issue if you want to compare waste.

A secure border is needed and a wall would help

Nobody disagrees with your argument there, but ask the border agents what they need most.

Because it is a waste of my tax dollars, that's why the wall is a stupid idea. Because the wall doesn't really do anything and it doesn't hold those accountable who hire these people.

That's why. I spend more out of my paychecks to feed illegal, underpaid immigrants than I do to pay my own family's food bills. I don't want them walled in or out.

I want them deported, their employers jailed, and for there to be a zero tolerance policy on illegal immigrants and their enablers.

I support your approach to the illegal alien menace

But that does not mean we cant and shouldnt also build a wall, beef up the number of agents gusrding the wall, and kick the teeth in of local government who refuse to support the crackdown on illegal aliens

No. It doesn't address the underlying issue and will solve nothing. It will of course cost me more tax dollars all so a bunch of simpletons can "feel better" all the while employers keep on employing illegals.
