I agree Mac, do everything you can to build up a defense to stop the need/want to come in the country by jumping ahead of everyone.

 

I don't agree simply because I don't want to pay for the wall. I already pay Enough for illegal immigration related problems.

Pack them up, ship them out, they are not American citizens and should not be treated as such. No courts. Pack em up and send them home.

On the way out, get their employer info, and throw them in jail.

 

Maybe they ought to check their pay stubs. Any intelligent person can simply compare their bi-weekly budget. The local, federal and state taxes I pay equal more then what my wife and I spend bi-weekly on groceries.

First keep them out with a secure border and then do as you say and go after those who employ any that make it here. You are also forgetting drug and possible terrorism infiltration that we need a secure border to mitigate

The thing is is that I am sick of bandaid solutions.

But if the illegal uses phony papers and passes the background check you are right back where you started

The problem is that deportees return. The porous border is too easily crossed. Trump has just authorized the hiring of an additional 10,000 border agents. $50 million in salaries and benefits, plus 10's of million$ in training and equipment. Imagine needing 1'000's fewer agents. Drastically reducing immigration court procedings. Not deporting the same offenders over, and over. Oh ... and not burying border patrol agents. The wall is self funding.
EDIT : $500 million in annual salary / benefits ... just for the new hires.

I have liberal relatives in Calif that do exactly that. Any heavy labor yard work and they just go down to where illegals congregate to look for work and bring a couple home.

the wall is for more then just keeping illegals out it is to help keep illegal drugs out 80% of illegal drug trafficking crosses the Mexican border and with those drugs comes the violent murderous gangs like MS13
Incase you haven't noticed we have a drug epidemic in this country that overdoses has taken the lives of over 40 thousand per year not counting the numerous murders related to the illegal drug trade

But that isnt good enough

Stopping them at the border is needed also

 

Then find a way to make them pay for the wall without dipping into my pockets. I'm taxed already. I need to pay LESS, not more, especially given all the aid I already hand out to illegal immigrants.
