I read Earth in the Balance by Al Gore. The Eco-Hypocrite flew around the world to proclaim how bad... flying around the world and burning nasty, toxic, poisonous fossil fuel is. It was fraught with errors as virtually all Leftist books are.

His newest fraud is Our Choice.

Gore's fraud begins with the cover.

It isn't often that you can begin a critique with the cover, but Al Gore makes it so convenient.
The cover of his book is shown at the top. He photoshopped it to erase most of the clouds, which are almost always present
especially in the mid latitudes. The bottom photo is the original from NASA, the obvious original.

Now you turn to the inside of the cover and again, Al lies. (Gasp!!!)
Claiming this is what the earth will look like if you meanies continue to drive your cars (while he rides in luxurious style and private jets),
Al photoshopped in numerous hurricanes everywhere. One off the east coast of America is twisting in the wrong direction.
Another is off the coast of Ecuador, where there has never been a hurricane. But all the misinformation is intended to line Al's pockets
    with more loot, so.....

P.S. Why did Al buy a new mansion near the coastline of California if it's all going under, as he claims in an eternal panic? Same with co-Nobel Laureate, Barack Obama, who bought a mansion in Martha's Vineyard.

He is arguing for fundamental change in our energy supply. And he can't void the world we live in now. This line of argument is completely inane. He has to live in the world we have now just like everyone else.

He is old enough that climate change won't affect him in a big way. Do the math! You claim to be an engineer and can't do simple math?

He's a charlatan, and the world's first carbon billionaire.

    Global Warming:

“A LITTLE TASTE OF JANUARY IN NOVEMBER:” Next week’s Arctic blast will be so cold, forecasters expect it to break 170 records across US.

He could promote his book by web conferencing and not burn a drop.

Fourteen hundred private jets overwhelmed the airport at Switzerland when an Eco-Hypocrite conference was held a few years ago.
Rather than share a private jet, Prince Charles and the Prime Minister took separate private jets... to lecture others on.... not burning nasty, deadly, toxic fossil fuel.
Why don't THEY videoconference, all these Eco-Hypocrites?

Study jet passenger jets and they rate them in tons of fuel per hour burned. A typical passenger Jet easily consumes 7 tons of fuel just to taxi and land and take off.

    From wikipedia

What percentage of fuel is used during takeoff?
A good estimate would be about 85% of the total fuel consumed would be done during cruise flight, with around 10% used during taxi, takeoff and climb and about 5% consumed during descent.Jan 5, 2018

From Earth in the Balance, by Al Gore

Page 19 “I was standing in the sun on a hot steel deck… We were anchored…”

[Not exactly. For as Gore said a sentence later, “there was nothing but hot dry sand in all directions.” The Aral Sea had long since receded from this place, and a stranded boat is not said to be “anchored.” One “anchors” only in water. Nobody has a boat “anchored“ in his back yard.]

Incidentally, Gore discusses his travels to Russia, Antarctica, the Arctic Ocean, the Amazon Rain Forest, equatorial Africa, the Caribbean, and many other places while advising the rest of the world to…. burn less fossil fuel. Do as Gore says, not as he does.

Besides being irrelevant to climate change, your comment ignores that to be anchored does not necessarily refer to ships - Christianity is anchored in the bible, etc.

I think you should try do discuss climate change - where you've struggled, but which is the primary issue.

I can't see the images either. This is likely because I don't have an account on thepoliticsforums.com.

Gosh, maybe we should give uncle Al the benefit of the doubt. he has to pay for all those houses, and private jets, and stuff.... A guy has to make a living, right? Even if he is a fraud....

Kidding.. he's just a fraud. He belongs in jail.
