    I'm glad you asked. It's just a point in time. I don't think that it's a fetus one second after birth either.

    If it's not a fetus one second after birth and it isn't a baby until it's a month old (as you claimed) then what is it from birth to one month???

    And as you've been told , and admitted, a fetus is a fetus until birth...try really hard to remember that simple fact....

    Just because 3 months is VERY far away from the fetus stage, so it was to force home my point, but I obviously don't think that it is any more of a fetus one second after birth.

    You got it!

    It is both a fetus and a baby. The scientific term which applies is "fetus", but it is also a baby after viability. You are free to disagree.

    As a 12 year old ages it becomes in a second at it's birthday, a teenager.

    As a fetus ages it becomes in a second at it's birth day , a baby.
