No, he apologized because he didn't intend to be out there but with his team, who had decided not to walk out. He made that pretty clear, so did the coach - read the quotes. You inferred he was lying, now you want to run away from that.

 

Again, you need to read rather than shout. The original post of mine you got so worked up about was a reply to someone who accused a veteran of lying. I was defending the veteran in question. Somehow you missed that.

Perhaps it is because the person who accused the vet of lying was a fellow right winger, so there is just no way he can be in the wrong no matter what he does. A bit like the draft dodger in the White House who denigrated the war service of a POW, who he described as a 'loser' to a cheering right wing crowd. That is 'spitting on' a veteran, but I'm guessing you managed to overlook that when you voted. In doing that you also 'spat on' a veteran. You said it was OK to attack a POW for his service, something I would never do. If you want to see the real problem, look in the mirror.
