Same with our society which has been brainwashed to think it is an acceptable thing to slice off flesh from a vulnerable child's genitalia. Do you know how many baby boys have died from this totally unnecessary procedure? 100 baby boys die every year from it in the US alone. Can you even imagine being one of those parents? Putting your child through what is supposedly a routine procedure and then find out he died from it? How horrible.

Anyhow, don't mean to hijack your thread here, but I feel that this definitely falls into the category of ownership of one's bodily autonomy. Boys and men have just as much right to not be mutilated whether it's their foreskin or their testicles. Anyone suggesting as much has absolutely no respect for others' autonomy and is utterly insane to suggest otherwise.

Hint, just because some women in history have been persecuted Just like the fact that "some men" have been in the Navy SEALs doesn't give me a collective claim to that experience just because "I'm a fellow man". If the worst discrimination you've experienced personally was being turned down for a prom date for a "hotter chick" then you've never experienced any actual persecution. One of the silliest things that Clinton was criticized for was her clothes.
Sexism is so ingrained and insidious that even allegedly intelligent people ridiculed her pantsuits....ignoring the fact that all her male counterparts in Congress ALL wore PANTSUITS...of course they're called "suits" when men wear them but they ARE suits with pants and no one ever ridiculed THEM .
It's a subtle way to let women know that they're not acceptable unless they dress like news anchors and hookers in short skin tight dresses and stiletto heels.
