I do hope no-one is now on a plane to Australia. If you are and don't arrive before mid-night tonight it is mandated that you self isolate for 14 days.....and that includes Australians. You will breach Law if you fail to comply.

The process of Government will be moved into virtual meeting via the www. Not sure if that extends to Parliamentary sittings.

There is this thing which has been given a name. 'Social distancing.' No gatherings of 500 or more allowed, excluding 'Malls', Train Stations, public transport etc. (Seems silly....499 good, one more...bad.) This is limited to what has been termed 'static mass gatherings,' like in sporting stadiums. No more hand shakes. Do not get within 1.5 meters of another person.

All cruise ships are banned from arriving in Australia.

I’m mystified as to why people feel the need to globe trot at this point. My state just reported it’s first community spread C-19 case. All previous were travel related. If people are really concerned about this thing, it seems they would not be engaging in international travel on boats and planes or trading germs with other people out fighting over the last roll of TP.

Around 2% of confirmed cases worldwide are kids. It’s well known and doesn’t contradict the theory young people are less affected. In Asia it’s been confirmed most transmission to kids is from adults. Just the opposite of influenza that is most often in the opposite direction, kid to adult or kid to kid.
